BS Childhood Education
Teachers of grades 1–6 arguably have the greatest responsibility: to provide students with a solid foundation that encourages a life of learning. With the bachelor’s of science in childhood education, you can choose from one of the following concentrations: biology, English, history, mathematics, or Spanish (NYC Campus only). This program leads to a bachelor’s degree and the New York State Initial Teaching Certificate in Childhood Education.

BA Art
Our BA program provides you with a concentrated program of art and design with a liberal arts education. You can take courses in digital art, graphic design, photography, video production, animation, drawing, painting, sculpture, and art history, allowing you to gain a wide range of experience in the field.

We are currently the only University in Manhattan to offer a major in Peace and Justice Studies. This unique program merges the field’s theoretical principles with the practical experience in New York City and beyond.
