The Master of Business Administration (MBA) prepares students to analyze problems and develop strategic solutions for their workplace. The MBA focuses on real-world application of business knowledge and skills. The MBA is a 36-hour program that consists of three parts: (1) general knowledge (2) required core and (3) electives selected to meet your goals. In addition, students will participate in the mentoring program designed to enhance networking opportunities.

Academically equivalent, both bachelor’s of art and bachelor’s of science will fully prepare you for a career in data analytics. If you choose to graduate with two majors, and one major is only offered as a B.A. or B.S., the second major should match the first degree.

This BFA Acting program develops your skills as an actor through experiences in the classroom and performance laboratory.

In recent years, our BFA students have participated in an average of six productions per year. You'll draw experience from a season that includes at least one Shakespeare production, other genres ranging from Greek Tragedy to contemporary works, four musicals, and four wekeends of musical theatre cabarets per year, as well as other faculty- and student-directed productions.

The B.A. in art requires an exposure to two-dimensional and three-dimensional media and art history. It can lead to graduate study in art, art history, art therapy or other academic or professional areas.

Students who wish to pursue the PK-12 teaching certificate will also include two methods courses in addition to the requirements for the B.A. in Art: ART 1000 Art in the PK-Elementary School and ART 2000 Art in the Secondary School, for a total of 58 hours in Art. Students will also take additional courses in the department of Education (Secondary Education Endorsement) to meet Nebraska certification education requirements.

Students majoring in Health and Fitness Studies may pursue interest in such areas as personal training, strength and conditioning training, worksite wellness, health promotions, fitness centers, and graduate school. The Bachelor of Arts degree is designed for those students who want a solid physics education with a broad liberal arts background and will be pursuing further education or employment in fields other than physics or engineering.

NWU Gender Studies is Nebraska Wesleyan’s most interdisciplinary academic program. It features professors from 11 fields of study—men and women who teach everything from anthropology to theatre.

Because gender influences so many fields—from health science to history—gender studies is a popular choice among NWU students with multiple majors. Their appreciation of gender’s complexity makes them better professionals, no matter which fields they choose for their careers.

The mission of the Social Work Program at Nebraska Wesleyan University is to prepare students for entry into professional generalist social work practice with a commitment to promoting social justice and enhancing human well being for individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities.

Admission into the Education Department and additional education departmental coursework is required. This major is designed to prepare students for the teaching profession in Health and Physical Education. With the addition of approximately 37 hours of education requirements, the student will be eligible for a Nebraska Teaching Certificate.
