What You’ll Learn
The M.Arch program at New York Tech helps you develop a critical understanding of historic and contemporary practices, cultures, and movements in the industry, preparing you to become a visionary leader and problem solver.

The program has two options:

• A two-year professional degree track for those with a pre-professional degree in architecture
• A three-year professional degree track for those with a bachelor’s degree in another area

Our M.B.A. with Business Analytics concentration gives you the skills you’ll need to analyze and implement data-driven business processes, form business inferences and predictions from data, and make optimal and robust business decisions.

Our program offers training on statistical analysis, data visualization, database management, machine learning, and social network analytics applications in different business functional areas including marketing, finance, accounting, operations, supply chain, and human resources.

You’ll become familiar with business analytics tools such as Python programming, SQL, Tableau, using them with real-world business case studies from different business disciplines to determine which dataset is most useful and how it can be leveraged to solve business problems and increase productivity, efficiency, and revenue.

• The Computer Science, B.S. program with a concentration in Big Data Management & Analytics is a joint effort between IBM and New York Tech that will prepare you for a role understanding and managing one of the world’s most important assets—big data.
• You’ll study a variety of topics such as data collection, data organization, information retrieval, and data mining. You’ll also complete lab exercises that use IBM InfoSphere BigInsights and IBM INfoSphere Streams.

In the AACSB-accredited Master of Business Administration, M.B.A. – Finance, you’ll learn from experienced professors and top industry executives in the center of New York City—the world capital of finance and business.

Through coursework and real-world projects, you’ll gain critical experience applying financial concepts, analyzing financial data from multiple sources, and evaluating investment strategies. You’ll also learn the latest financial technology, including various live data sources, Bloomberg terminals, and the Center for Research in Security Prices (CRSP) database.

Upon the completion of our M.B.A. program, you’ll be able to:

In the Graphic Design, B.F.A. program, you’ll produce work that demonstrates artistic expression, technical proficiency, and well-informed conceptual ideas.

You’ll take courses in areas from advertising and editorial to information graphics, logos and branding, motion graphics, packaging, typography, and web and interactive design and emerge with a portfolio of work that will demonstrate your professional readiness to future employers.

You’ll gain proficiency with the latest applications and technology—including Adobe Creative Cloud, 3-D printers, and laser cutters—and how to use them in the creation, reproduction, and distribution of visual messages.

Through internships with local agencies and design firms, as well as projects (both individual and collaborative), you’ll prepare to tackle the real-world challenges of being a career-ready graphic designer.

Push the boundaries of new media and develop creative artwork with tools such as motion capture, 3-D scanning and printing, programming, and augmented reality.

What You’ll Learn
The Digital Art & Design - Fine Arts & Technology, M.F.A. helps you push the boundaries of your imagination by producing concept-driven, innovative works of art with both new technologies and traditional tools and mediums. Each of your classes explores and integrates cutting-edge technology, with an emphasis on its impact on the art experience. Your classroom projects incorporate the use of 3-D modeling software to create memorable characters and environments; motion capture to drive those characters and bring them to life; and experiential art through the use of VR/AR.

Our Bachelor of Science in Biology comprises a core curriculum in humanities and research principles and practices, followed by coursework in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, cell biology, evolutionary biology, general and organic chemistry, physics, and calculus. Our major also fulfills all the requirements for entrance to medical school, or to pursue graduate studies in dentistry, podiatry, veterinary medicine, and other areas.
