In the Graphic Design, B.F.A. program, you’ll produce work that demonstrates artistic expression, technical proficiency, and well-informed conceptual ideas.

What You’ll Learn

In the AACSB-accredited Master of Business Administration, M.B.A. – Finance, you’ll learn from experienced professors and top industry executives in the center of New York City—the world capital of finance and business.

Our Bachelor of Science in Biology comprises a core curriculum in humanities and research principles and practices, followed by coursework in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, cell biology, evolutionary biology, general and organic chemistry, physics, and calculus. Focused on culturally competent school counseling and social justice, the School Counseling, M.S. helps you become a compassionate, effective advocate for the academic, social, and emotional success of pre-K–12 students.

You’ll gain a broad foundation on prevalent topics in school counseling today, including leadership, group counseling, working with special needs students, college counseling, and school violence prevention. You’ll also acquire the critical experience you need through a practicum and internships under the mentorship of a tenured school counselor in a pre-K–12 school setting.

We also offer a Bilingual Extension, which can be completed simultaneously with your school counseling degree. The extension includes a minimum of six additional credits, as well as bilingual practicum experience to prepare you to work specifically with bilingual/ELL students and their families. NYSED certification will require documented proficiency in the target language by independently passing the New York State Bilingual Assessment (BEA).

What You’ll Learn

• Help people from a range of backgrounds and experiences live better lives through counseling, advocacy, and mediation with the Behavioral Sciences-Sociology / Social Work, B.S. You’ll study different social systems—family units, gangs, religious cults, medical systems, and more—and how they’re impacted by race, ethnicity, gender, sexual preference, and social class.
• You’ll gain critical experience with field placement opportunities, as well as work side by side with full-time faculty on original research, presenting at regional and national conferences, as well as New York Tech’s Symposium of University Research and Creative Expression (SOURCE).
