Would you like a career in strength and conditioning, exercise leadership, or personal training? If so, the MS in Exercise Science is for you. The program prepares you to work with a wide variety of clients, including athletes and people with cardiovascular, pulmonary, or metabolic issues.

This degree is an ideal launchpad for a career in graphic design, from UX/UI to editorial, publication, motion graphics, animation or infographic design. You’ll build a strong foundation in fundamentals of design, image and typography and learn to solve a wide range of design problems. By the time you graduate, you’ll be equipped with the creative, technical, theoretical and problem-solving skills you need to thrive in any professional design environment.

A Master of Science in Biology from Adelphi opens up a wide range of career paths. Some graduates go on to medical or dental school. Others participate in research doctoral programs. Many others go on to successful careers in biotechnology, public health, or environmental law.

To help you with your career goals, during your M.S. in Biology program you have the option to concentrate in one of three areas:

• Molecular biology
• Physiology
• Ecology, evolution, and conservation biology

You can work as a producer or media planner for a TV or media company, or pursue a graduate degree in law, business or education (teaching). You can become a public relations associate, a journalist or pursue your own independent films. You can work in new media as a blogger, a content producer or a social media specialist.

Both the BA and BFA unlock exciting career opportunities in the visual arts. If you dream of becoming a professional artist or designer, a BFA will provide you with the training and confidence to build your own studio practice, then apply for artist residencies or an MFA. If you’re interested in a career in curating, art direction, web design, multimedia animation, art conservation or arts administration, a BA—a liberal arts degree—will help you develop highly marketable professional skills like analysis, critical thinking and problem solving.

Chemistry majors are in demand for many different occupational fields. This degree will prepare you for graduate work in chemistry, biochemistry, forensics, teaching, pharmacy and chemical engineering and is an excellent degree for students planning to apply to medical or dental schools.

The profession of accounting is constantly growing and changing—in theories, regulations and practices—and is divided into two broad areas: financial or managerial. A BBA in accounting combines the fundamentals of a business program with concentrated coursework in accounting, preparing graduates to tackle complex business issues upon graduation and into the future. Earning a BBA will have you ready to launch into a successful accounting career in the public and private sectors.
