Studio artists are creative problem solvers who enjoy experimentation, are self-disciplined, and visually aware.

Digital Art: Combine your two loves into one discipline that will help you refine your skills in classes that provide a broad, integrated understanding of creative practice across 3-D modeling, animation, video, Web, interactive systems, photo-based media, and digital printmaking. • Environment and Development: The concentration in environment and development focuses on the interplay between economic development and natural resources. The goal of this concentration is to help students understand the difficulties and opportunities in the area of sustainable development. Economic activity has environmental effects at all scales from local pollution and resource depletion such as deforestation, to regional impacts from overfishing or excessive use of water resources, and on to global concerns such as climate change.

Economics is the study of how people choose to use resources. These can include the time and talent people have available; the land, buildings, equipment, and other tools on hand; and the knowledge of how to combine them to create useful products and services. Economics will provide you with analytical skills and a breadth of economic understanding that prepares you for a career in business or government or for further study in economics, law, or public policy.

Empirical Economic Analysis: Learn how to define and analyze economic problems using algebraic and statistical methods, and to identify the benefits and costs of a global economy.

The Bachelor of Arts is a broad-based liberal arts degree with an emphasis in the study of music. You can use this degree to explore music alongside other areas of study including business, engineering, arts administration, digital media, and jazz.
