Agricultural Pest Management/Plant Pathology: Learn about agriculture biology and physical science through class instruction and internships with a specific emphasis on plant pathology.

Learn about nutrition and the research, development, packaging, and distribution of our food supply. At LSU, you will participate in hands-on learning, professional development, and faculty-led research to prepare for a health-related profession or career in business or agriculture. 

Nutrition, Health, and Society: This concentration will prepare you for a career in the health professions, specifically dietetics or medicine, or in the food industry.

If you enjoy bringing life to a creative thought, you may find your niche in studio art. Choose a focus in two- or three-dimensional art, such as ceramics and sculpture, painting and drawing, photography, or printmaking. Become familiar with a number of art techniques and the major achievements in the history of art. Gain an understanding of contemporary thinking about art and design, and learn to make valid assessments of quality in design projects and works of art. Studio artists are creative problem solvers who enjoy experimentation, are self-disciplined, and visually aware.

Sustainable Production Systems: In this concentration, you will gain a background in applied agronomy and horticulture with a focus on production and economics.

Experimental Music and Digital Media: Expand your interest in computer music, experimental music, music technology, and digital media to the next level and journey toward opportunities in electronic music and digital media. This program will provide you with the knowledge and skills to participate in the environmental community in areas such as federal and local environmental regulations, land use planning, soil and water conservation, coastal restoration, and agricultural management.

Policy Analysis: Learn about the role and scope of state and federal regulatory agencies, environmental laws and regulations, mechanisms for implementation of regulations, compliance with regulations, environmental permitting, the role of risk assessment in decision making, and land use planning.
