Students who earn their Bachelor of Arts Degree in Exercise, Nutrition and Health Science are provided the health education needed to become future leaders in the sport, exercise and nutrition industry.

Radiology technologists are involved in direct patient care. Radiographers position imaging equipment and adjust controls to produce diagnostic quality images and assist radiologists in performing specialized imaging procedures. Radiographers work in a variety of settings including hospitals, diagnostic centers, doctor's offices, clinics, and orthopedic practices. Certified radiology technologists may go on to be trained in other advanced imaging techniques, including Computed Axial Tomography (CAT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Positron Emission Tomography (PET), mammography, and interventional radiography. Advanced career options in education, administration and research are also possible.

Medical technologists perform a variety of tests on blood, tissues and body fluids using the techniques of hematology, microbiology, immunohematology, clinical chemistry and urinalysis. They work in conjunction with pathologists, physicians, or scientists in hospital laboratories. This is a 3+1 program in which the first three years of course work are completed at Roosevelt University with the final year completed at the clinical affiliate site.

As the world becomes more reliant on internet-based technologies, there is high demand for professionals trained in information security. Roosevelt’s Bachelor of Science in Cyber and Information Security program is designated a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Music education students at CCPA come from all over the world to experience Chicago and develop their music teaching practice. Students enroll in degree plans with a choral or instrumental focus but all music education majors develop well-rounded knowledge and skills through methods courses in general music, choir, band, and orchestra as well as techniques and conducting courses. Students have access to a wide spectrum of school settings that help them relate real-life teaching situations to their coursework.

A graduate degree track offered in collaboration between Roosevelt University and the Music Institute of Chicago, the Master of Music Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy is available to qualified violinists, violists, cellists and flutists. The degree combines advanced performance and academic studies with in-depth studies of Suzuki Education and development of teaching skills through observations, practicum and apprentice teaching. Also offered is a Certificate in Suzuki Pedagogy, designed for skilled musicians who already have or are not interested in pursuing a master’s degree, but have a strong interest in teaching as a vocation and commitment to Suzuki Education.

At Roosevelt, our graphic design classes will provide the skills needed to create visual concepts and to communicate ideas by using cutting-edge software to prepare you for the industry’s competitive environment. Web, video, print, photography and digital animation are all covered through our graphic arts courses. Students will be equipped with the knowledge necessary for effective visual presentation of verbal, photographic and graphic information. Those in Roosevelt's graphic design programs will also learn to communicate visually and verbally by using an aesthetic perspective, which is developed through the study of design history and theory.

The BA in Early Childhood Education (ECHD) prepares teacher candidates to address the learning and socio-emotional needs of children from birth to third grade. This intensive, field-based program prepares every candidate to work democratically with diverse children and families, including those with special needs and second language backgrounds. It leads to a combination of Illinois teaching credentials.
