Prepare to perform in an opera, musical, recording studio, orchestra, band, chorus, chamber ensemble or as a soloist. Our program will help you refine your abilities in music performance to begin working or pursuing graduate studies after graduation. You will have a multitude of individual and group performance opportunities including solo competitions, workshops, masterclasses, and national and international travel with our ensembles.

This program teaches and instills leadership traits and qualities, so that you may one day lead an organization. Students gain unique skills and experiences related to the military, such as map reading, land navigation, marksmanship, rappelling and much more. Our students are immersed in a challenging academic experience that combines theory and practice. You begin in the classroom learning the foundations of biology, but quickly find yourself discovering antibiotic-producing bacteria, wading through wetlands, exploring behavioral neuroscience, analyzing real-time physiological data collected on classmates, or studying patterns of evolution in fruit flies.

Our majors are part of a tight-knit community of learners, asking critical questions about the study of religion and theology today. Our graduates contribute meaningfully to the fields of ministry, law, medicine, political science, business and education. They also go on to the nation's top graduate programs in religious studies and theology.

As an electrical engineering graduate student, you’ll work with top scholars and industry leaders and develop your area of expertise. Your work is supported with faculty expertise and seven computer labs with industry-specific software along with ten specialized laboratories.

Students receive a professional art degree and teacher licensure upon graduation. Licensure is transferable to other states and unlike other art education programs, UD students start working with young people right away.

Our students are taught by an outstanding array of scholar-teachers in areas of inquiry that include American politics, public law, public administration, international relations, comparative politics, public policy, environmental politics, urban politics and political theory.

Economics is a social science and as such an important component of the liberal arts curriculum. It provides a useful background for students interested in careers in public policy, business or finance.

Students who study economics investigate the allocation of scarce resources. The foundation of economics is based on theories of how people, institutions and governments make choices and interact. Some of the topics that a student of economics studies are: pricing, the effects of taxing and regulation by the government, inflation, income distribution and international trade.

Because Economics straddles the worlds of business and social science, the demand for economics majors is strong in both the public and private sector. Economics is also great preparation for graduate school in fields as diverse as business, law, and public policy.
