In addition to our rigorous academic program, students are provided with many opportunities to work side-by-side with faculty on research projects such as developing improved flame retardants, studying biodegradation of polymer coatings and discovering new photodynamic lung cancer treatments. Through the Discover Arts and Discover Sciences programs, students take a seminar acquainting them with the University and the College. The seminar will cover the curriculum and careers of each program, as well as the multitude of complementary minors. The criminal justice studies major is individualized and students choose the justice path that is right for them.
