As a UD Dietetics major, you'll thrive in an environment where hands-on learning, professionalism, leadership, and evidence-based practice are at the forefront. Students are mentored and taught by faculty who are registered and licensed dietitian nutritionists (RDNs) to support your growth and development, both in and out of the classroom.

The University of Dayton School of Engineering chemical engineering program is one of only a few universities in the nation involved in the modeling, control and automation of composite processing.

You'll develop scholarship, research and lab skills and excel in professional or continued graduate work. Our extensive course selection includes chemical, bio-sensors, chemical reactor analysis, and combustion as well as advanced work in nanomaterials and fuel cells. We also offer you special opportunities, including courses with the Dayton Area Graduate Studies Institute, evening courses and federally funded research.

Students receive a professional art degree and teacher licensure upon graduation. Licensure is transferable to other states and unlike other art education programs, UD students start working with young people right away.

With the help of a semester-long seminar and the assistance of your Student Success adviser, you'll discover the area of engineering that's right for you while staying on track academically. The seminar covers the curriculum and careers of each engineering program (chemical, civil, computer, electrical and mechanical), as well as the multitude of complementary minors, concentrations and programs.

Once you decide on your engineering academic program, students admitted as Discover Engineering are guaranteed to move into any engineering program and students admitted as Discover Engineering Technology are guaranteed to move into any engineering technology program.  If you'd like to move between the engineering and engineering technology programs, you can coordinate with your Student Success adviser on the process to do so!

Money is a part of modern society on every imaginable level. Individuals, families, small companies, large corporations, nonprofit organizations and governments must be able to manage their finances.

Our finance program prepares you to raise money, manage debt and invest your assets. You will work diligently to understand the financing of business enterprises: the financial decision making process, how financial markets function, and the acquisition and management of capital.

To prepare for your career, you can concentrate your studies in investment analysis and portfolio management, or corporate financial management.

Prepare to perform in an opera, musical, recording studio, orchestra, band, chorus, chamber ensemble or as a soloist. Our program will help you refine your abilities in music performance to begin working or pursuing graduate studies after graduation. You will have a multitude of individual and group performance opportunities including solo competitions, workshops, masterclasses, and national and international travel with our ensembles.

Our majors are part of a tight-knit community of learners, asking critical questions about the study of religion and theology today. Our graduates contribute meaningfully to the fields of ministry, law, medicine, political science, business and education. They also go on to the nation's top graduate programs in religious studies and theology.
