Environmental biology is a dynamic and growing major which prepares students with the scientific background needed to understand and address the many pressing environmental concerns that exist in the modern world. Our curriculum provides you with an understanding of basic electrical engineering principles and emphasizes the development of problem-solving skills. Your extensive lab experiences are integrated with your coursework, which ensures the development of fundamental knowledge — resulting in a graduate ready to enter the workforce or pursue a graduate degree.

Electrical engineering is a broad-based degree program concerning the study and application of devices and systems involving electrical signals, electronics and electromagnetics. It includes the rapidly developing areas of control systems, digital and computer systems, microelectronics, telecommunications, radar systems, robotics, signal and image processing, and more.

Students in our technical and professional writing program can make complicated material both understandable and usable for real-world audiences.

Students dive deep into rhetoric and composition, learning about language and the context in which it is written and read.

As a student in the Interdisciplinary Educational Studies program at the University of Dayton, you’ll have the flexibility to chart your own path to success and design a program to meet your diverse professional goals.

Candidates must select concentration coursework from both the School of Education and Health Sciences and at least one department outside SEHS.

Students receive a professional art degree and teacher licensure upon graduation. Licensure is transferable to other states and unlike other art education programs, UD students start working with young people right away.
