The School of Engineering and Computer Science (SOECS) also offers a master’s degree in engineering science with a concentration in mechanical engineering. Through our blended program, students can begin graduate course work during their senior year at Pacific and complete their bachelor’s and master’s degrees in five years.

The civil engineering program is recognized for its practical curriculum, high academic standards and student-centered emphasis. In addition to the CO-OP experience, students have opportunities to participate in competitions and hands-on projects as part of their studies.

The Music Education degree coursework is built on an academically challenging, performance-based core curriculum allowing you to obtain a degree and California teaching credential within 4 years. You will develop teaching skills with a hands-on approach to music learning in a variety of diverse music education settings. The new Master of Science in Computer Science degree program is built on a 96-year foundation of engineering and computer science at University of the Pacific. The one to two-year program, taught at the iconic ivy-covered campus in Stockton, California, teaches students advanced techniques and best practices of professional research and establishes the intellectual foundations for achieving excellence in the field of computer science. Graduates of the degree program will be prepared to create new technologies and enhance existing systems with a curriculum that dives into machine learning, data science, virtual reality, and more. Whether you are a working adult, a residentially-based undergraduate student, a transfer student, or looking to make a career change into Computer Science, we offer a variety of flexible plans of study to meet many needs.

The Master of Science in Engineering Science (MSES) program is designed to strengthen students' technical, analytical, and professional breadth and depth. All students receiving an MSES degree will complete a set of core courses that covers the broader subjects of research and analysis. Students are allowed admission to the MSES program after completing their bachelor's degree. Traditional MSES students may qualify for a graduate assistantship, which provides tuition and a living stipend.
