The mission of the Department of Speech-Language Pathology is to prepare reflective speech-language pathologists and audiologists for lifelong success by providing an excellent student-centered experiential learning environment. The Master of Science in Engineering Science (MSES) program is designed to strengthen students' technical, analytical, and professional breadth and depth. All students receiving an MSES degree will complete a set of core courses that covers the broader subjects of research and analysis. Students are allowed admission to the MSES program after completing their bachelor's degree. Traditional MSES students may qualify for a graduate assistantship, which provides tuition and a living stipend.

The field of Civil Engineering has long been known for its breadth and ability to adapt to the new technological needs of society, while the modern responsibility of the field is to manage the natural and built environment.The University of the Pacific prepares students for careers with public agencies or private industry and firms involved in planning, design, research and development, or regulation.

An appreciation of the principles of chemistry is fundamental to understanding our daily lives and the future of our planet. Chemistry also serves as a foundation not only to industrial careers, but also to careers in the health sciences. The emphasis in all chemistry classes is to provide a thorough understanding of basic chemical concepts and to develop the competence in how to apply these concepts in a logical fashion to solve real world problems. Students can choose among a variety of degree programs designed to meet a range of career goals.

The BS Biochemistry program follows national guidelines and is aligned with pre-requisites for professional schools. In order to earn the bachelor of science degree with a major in chemistry, students must complete a minimum of 120 units with a Pacific cumulative and major/program grade point average of 2.0.

The organizational leadership degree completion program aims to help students develop a basic understanding of the theories of leadership  and how to best implement changes in order to guide successful organizations. Courses cover topics such as leadership development, project management, communication, public relations, conflict management and social psychology.

The diversity of course, fieldwork and internship offerings provides students with opportunities to study and have first-hand experience with a wide range of human behaviors and problems.

In the human performance concentration of the Health, Exercise, and Sport Sciences major, you will study the mechanics of human movement and how they impact our health and wellbeing.

The human performance program prepares you for careers in the fitness industry, coaching performance technology, wellness education, sports medicine and athletic performance.

Civil engineering encompasses the structures and systems of a functioning society. From the water people drink to the roads they travel on, the work of civil engineers serves and benefits society every day.

The civil engineering program is recognized for its practical curriculum, high academic standards and student-centered emphasis. In addition to the CO-OP experience, students have opportunities to participate in competitions and hands-on projects as part of their studies.

Pacific's Master of Science in Finance program offers the perfect blend of finance theory and application. With a $3.5 million student-run investment fund, our STEM-designated program offers students the unique opportunity to manage a large equity portfolio using state of the art tools of the industry. In just one year, our program prepares students for the CFA certification and is offered in-person and online simultaneously using a hyflex modality providing flexibility for working professionals.
