The Master of Science in Engineering Science (MSES) program is designed to strengthen students' technical, analytical, and professional breadth and depth. All students receiving an MSES degree will complete a set of core courses that covers the broader subjects of research and analysis. Students are allowed admission to the MSES program after completing their bachelor's degree. Traditional MSES students may qualify for a graduate assistantship, which provides tuition and a living stipend.

The organizational leadership degree completion program aims to help students develop a basic understanding of the theories of leadership  and how to best implement changes in order to guide successful organizations. Courses cover topics such as leadership development, project management, communication, public relations, conflict management and social psychology.

This program is gives you the problem?solving, collaboration, communication and leadership skills required to lead organizations. Between your family and your career, we understand your priorities. The international relations major is designed for students interested in global and international studies. The School of International Studies combines the resources of a comprehensive university and experiential learning with a rigorous international, interdisciplinary and intercultural curriculum designed to prepare you for success in global professions in government, industry, education and nonprofit organizations.

The Department of English is an active and thriving community, where students meet respected professionals who are using their own English degrees in innovative and exciting ways, and gain hands-on publishing experience by working on Pacific's nationally-recognized, award-winning literary magazine, Calliope. Our students graduate with real-world skills and a passion for literature and knowledge that give them a unique perspective on the world around them as they step into their futures.

That's pretty broad, but so is a physics degree. Physics majors of course most often go into scientific or technical fields (like optics, superconductivity, nanotechnology, new energy methods, etc.), but it is a very flexible degree. Physics majors go on to careers in biology, law, financial firms, teaching, and other areas — basically anywhere there are difficult problems to solve.

The applied mathematics major is designed for students who are interested in applying their mathematics skills to problems in the real world, for example, in engineering. Our students graduate with a passion for mathematics and learning and are able to apply the problem-solving skills learned in the classroom to the world around them. Our mathematics program offers opportunities for you to refine your knowledge and use of mathematics content, communication and teamwork, mathematical reasoning and problem solving, and technology. Courses are intended to give you a competitive edge when you enter the job market.

Students who choose to major in mathematics are provided opportunities to develop strong problem solving skills that use quantitative methods and appropriate technology. They understand the strengths, limitations and wide applicability of mathematical modeling in a variety of disciplines. Students develop an appreciation for the discipline and esthetics of mathematics, effectiveness in problem solving, and an appropriate understanding of theory. Graduates who major in mathematics are prepared for the many careers in which mathematics plays an important role, for further study in Mathematics at the graduate level, or for careers in teaching mathematics.

The Bachelor of Arts in Music is designed to help you connect music to the liberal arts and sciences. It provides a breadth of study that can serve as excellent preparation for graduate study in music. Its adaptability can also serve students with professional flexibility via a broad choice of electives to design a curriculum for a unique degree path or career. The music portion of this degree is quite similar to the Bachelor of Music requirements in the first year, allowing you for exploration of these options or electives while still progressing toward graduation. An independent capstone project allows you to further a particular musical interest or to combine musical and non-musical research.

The Music Performance major offers you an opportunity to study the fundamental principles of your chosen instrument through a broad range of pedagogical approaches that culminate in the holistic performance of a broad range of literature. Our faculty are professional musicians and educators experienced in all facets of performance. Students have the opportunity to perform in master classes, solo recitals and in a wide range of ensembles including band, orchestra, jazz, choir, opera, contemporary and chamber music.

The goal of the health, exercise and sport sciences program is to examine how movement-based physical activities, exercise and sport contribute to the quality of human life. We do this from a wide range of perspectives including biology, chemistry, psychology, sociology, business, education and philosophy to ensure that you are able to conceptualize and analyze health and human movement in a holistic manner.
