Courses in this concentration build an understanding of macro level development by examining the connections between politics and economics. You will learn about nation building, social safety nets, the changing role of nation states and national institutions, and the controversial influence of money on people and policies.

Establish an in-depth understanding of the human organism as an individual and as part of large populations. In addition, you will study comparative context to understand why human beings have the particular set of biological features that we do. Next, focus on health, illness and the events that have shaped our species over time including genetics, nutrition, disease, ecology, adaption and environment.

The Master of Public Health (MPH) provides you with a strong foundation in primary public health fields and advanced knowledge in your area of interest. Epidemiology
Prepare for a career in epidemiology by learning about practices such as surveillance, etiology, and prevention and intervention program evaluation.
