The Apparel Design & Product Development curriculum develops students into professionals that will be successful in both the domestic and international marketplace. Fashion design is the development of apparel, textile and consumer products that meet the needs of specific consumer markets. Students develop an understanding of these needs through the study of consumer behavior, demographics and psychographics. Apparel Design courses are both creative and high technical. Courses include:

The International Year program is designed especially for international students. It is the first year of study at Baylor University, where students study a combination of English language courses and credit-bearing academic courses. Risk Management and Insurance
The Risk Management and Insurance major (designated as a pre-major) focuses on identifying financial and economic characteristics of risks to which firms and individuals are exposed and developing effective strategies for managing such risks. Available courses include:

A very quantitative track in Geology is called Geophysics, and this degree combines the study of geology with math and physics. The Geophysics major focuses on the structure of the Earth using seismic waves, and these students are highly sought after by petroleum companies. Students choose one of three concentrations: Environmental Geophysics, Earthquake Geophysics and Petroleum Exploration Geophysics. Available courses include:

The Electrical and Computer Engineering major (designated as a pre-major) is a nationally-recognized program designed for students interested in math and science and the advancement of technology. The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) has accredited the Baylor program, which gives ECE students the opportunity to analyze, design and build a variety of devices enabling an understanding of the principles behind modern technologies and prepare them to play a role in shaping the future. Students are prepared for a variety of careers in radio, television, cable and allied fields, and for careers in which knowledge of and skills in electronic and film communication are an integral part of professional activity. They will also have the opportunity to showcase their work through the Black Glasses Film Festival which exhibits the best student work in both film-making and screenwriting.
