The Master of Music in performance degree prepares students for professional music careers in a supportive, collegial environment.  Graduate students study with highly celebrated performers who are committed to teaching excellence.  The graduate performance program consists of applied lessons, ensembles, core studies in music theory/history and research, and related studies.  The Master of Music degree is a two year program.

Gain insight into the global business environment and an international perspective on economic topics, including trade theory, international financial policy and emerging markets. With DePaul’s MBA concentration in International Business, you’ll be prepared to navigate effectively as a manager in a complex and ever-changing global business environment through a multidisciplinary curriculum.

As a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or a Bachelor Science (BS) in Biological Sciences major, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in a wide range of careers in science, research, education, health and other fields.

Inside and outside the classroom, you’ll learn to think independently and work collaboratively. Here, most faculty members direct their own research programs, giving you an opportunity to work on multiple research projects. Biological Sciences majors are encouraged to attend seminars and complete internships.

If you’re interested in pursuing a career in education, the Department of Biological Sciences also partners with the College of Education to award teaching degrees.

The B.S. in Biological Sciences major offers you a structured curriculum, with more of an emphasis on science- and math-focused courses. As you gain a strong foundation of knowledge in biological science theories and practices, you'll choose one of the following concentrations:

• Cell and molecular biology
• Ecology and evolution
• Integrative biology
• Medicine and health
• Microbiology and biotechnology
• Neuroscience
• Physiology

Develop skills to become a leader in the business of hospitality and tourism in DePaul’s MBA in Hospitality Leadership. You’ll study current customer industry trends, relationship management and service delivery, as well as marketing and hospitality strategies. This MBA concentration is ideal if you are a hospitality industry professional with a strong desire to enhance your knowledge and business skills or if you want to join the business side of hospitality operations.

The World Language Education (WLE) program integrates education and language courses. Your foreign language education degree will prepare you to teach kindergarten through 12th grade in a variety of urban and suburban education settings, including public and private schools.

As part of this program, you will take language courses from the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and education courses from the College of Education. You will earn a BA from the College of Education, and concentrations are offered in Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

The Biological Sciences MS is a versatile degree that’s ideal for those who plan to teach, research or pursue a PhD. Become a well-rounded biologist through a combination of lecture, laboratory and seminar courses. Work on cutting-edge research in labs alongside your peers and professors—and develop your own concentration of studies under the mentorship of your faculty advisor.

Students that are admitted to the MS program are hired as teaching assistants, and provided tuition waivers and stipends. External funding opportunities through programs like the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program?, Gem Fellowship? ?(underrepresente??d students in STEM),? or Fulbright Fellowship (international students) ?are also possible.?

As an Economics major, you’ll learn how to think about behaviors and problems that exist in an economy. You’ll also learn how to analyze economic data to identify and address these problems.

Economics majors develop theoretical, quantitative and analytical skills that complement and enhance what you’ll learn in other business disciplines in the Driehaus College of Business.

The tools and methods of Applied Mathematics are in demand wherever quantitative analysis is used for strategic decision-making. The MS in Applied Mathematics gives you the expertise you need to use those tools and methods in business, industry or government.

Statistics Concentration
The Statistics concentration? is designed to provide students with the necessary quantitative background for employment in business, industry, or government. It also provides a solid foundation for students interested in pursuing a PhD in statistics.

The MS in Business Information Technology is offered by the College of Computing and Digital Media with some course work taken from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business (KGSB). Students gain technology management skills and core business concepts to better serve organizations in information-dependent areas. The program provides a solid base for those interested in moving their career forward through management positions in staff/line functions at various types of organizations.
