The graduate jazz studies program provides students a comprehensive education in jazz, allowing students to specialize in either performance or composition. Drawing upon the resources of the Chicago jazz scene, faculty members are highly celebrated performers, teachers, composers, and arrangers. In addition to applied jazz lessons, jazz ensembles, and jazz combos, Master of Music students enroll in courses such as jazz theory, history, pedagogy, improvisation, composing, and/or arranging. Throughout the program, jazz students have multiple opportunities to record performances and compositions in professional recording studios.

What was once a packet delivery system mimicking a postal system is now an intricate multi-tiered structure of protocols and services. The unique MS Network Engineering and Security (NES) program at DePaul University delivers both the theory and practice behind the design and maintenance of these diverse network infrastructures. Students have access to extensive lab facilities using equipment from Cisco, Juniper, and other manufacturers. Our students get hands-on practice in configuring routers, switches, and firewalls, as well as securing networks, evaluating and managing their performance, and ensuring the they meet business requirements.

The master's in Product Innovation and Computing is offered by the College of Computing and Digital Media with some course work taken from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business (KGSB). This STEM degree incorporates the innovation and entrepreneurship processes with computer science, and allows students in the program to recognize broader issues in technology-related problems and understand the business constraints affecting this technology.
