The coursework in the English Teaching program is designed to provide you with foundational literary and educational concepts, practical field experience, and a broad understanding of textual genres, historical periods, composition/rhetoric, and the cultural significance of relevant writers and their texts. At Lipscomb, you'll grow your creative skills under some of the most prominent animators in the U.S., including Tom Bancroft and John Pomeroy. You’ll connect with and learn from experts in Maya software, the industry standard in computer graphics and CGI effects. You’ll even have the option of taking on opportunities in Los Angeles — our department’s Los Angeles internship program as well as a yearly trip to work at an animation studio there.
