Become a CFA.  We have CFA review courses. Our faculty will help you with Level I and Level II exams.

Strong connection to local finance professionals.   In addition to our outstanding faculty, we draw in professionals from the securities industry to guide students.

Several courses have integrated the CFA® curriculum as provided by CFA Institute and are based on the Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) from the CFA® Program. Topics in these courses assist students in preparation for the CFA® exam.*

As an English major at the University of New Haven, you’ll study contemporary fiction and poetry while you explore public speaking and writing for business. The University’s full-time MBA program, which is one of only two in Connecticut – and less than 30 across the U.S. – that offer concentrations that are STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) certified by the federal government, enables you to both master new skills through rigorous coursework and build a portfolio of experience through internships and real-world learning opportunities that will prepare you to excel.

Our program is a great choice for those who’ve recently completed an undergraduate degree or who are looking to continue their education straight out of college. The program’s schedule allows for students to complete the program in as few as 12 months for those who meet the criteria to waive the three business foundation courses, and carry a 12-credit hour load. Students who do not meet the waiver criteria may complete the program in less than two years.

In the past quarter century, no other branch of science has undergone the kind of advancement in technological progress that has been observed in cellular and molecular biology. We live in an age when the ability to sequence the genome of every new child entering the world is just beyond the horizon. This wealth of information will come with great responsibility and will dramatically reshape and broaden our understanding of human health and disease. With these advances have come massive investment and increased workforce demands within both public and private biomedical sectors.

Broad in its application yet focused on clear training goals, the master’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology provides students with the theory and skills to navigate the rapidly changing landscape of biomedical research. Students gain hands-on training in the laboratory skills most desired by today’s bioscience employers, and they have the option to either complete a research thesis project under the guidance of a departmental faculty member or to choose a non-thesis option that culminates in a capstone.

Students also have the opportunity to join active faculty-led research groups, tackling important questions in cancer biology, virology and vaccine design, microbial pathogenesis, DNA damage and repair, and embryonic development. Graduates from our program are well trained and have gone on to successful careers in research and development at biotech start-ups and in technical positions at large pharmaceutical companies. Our alumni are also well-positioned to enter doctoral programs for further study.

Our program, which was designed through a collaboration of top faculty in the departments of Economics and Business Analytics, Finance, Marketing, and Management, can be completed, on average, in 18 months (four semesters), You’ll develop a thorough understanding of data’s profit potential across all business areas and learn how to use and deploy predictive analytics, machine learning, and data visualization for maximum results.

Students earning a B.S. degree in Business Management are required to complete 121 credits, including the university core curriculum (41 credits) and the business program core (30 credits).  The major allows the flexibility to minor in a wide array of related areas such as entrepreneurship or marketing.

As an international business major at the University of New Haven, you’ll gain a global perspective through interdisciplinary studies in the core principles of accounting, economics, finance, management and marketing. AI/Analytics concentration (STEM-certified): Develop a competency for data analysis and the tools used in auditing, predictive modeling, forensic accounting, and business operations analytics, equipping you with the skills need to succeed in a cutting-edge field in the modern American marketplace.

Corporate concentration: Refine your accounting skills for a career in either a publicly held or private company. Learn about financial, managerial, taxation and International accounting and taxation standards and procedures and how to apply them to various entities.

Forensic concentration:  Learn about investigative accounting, valuation theory and practice, fraud examination, building the skills you need to work in the growing field of forensic accounting

Taxation concentration: Build the skills you need to advise clients regarding the tax law. This track concentrates on federal income taxation as it relates to corporations, partnerships,  and limited liability companies.

The mission of University of New Haven’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program is to prepare healthcare professionals who prevent disease, promote health, and protect the well-being of the public through education, practice, research, and service.

Through our program, you will gain the leadership skills, innovative mindset, and background in evidence-based decision-making that are required to excel in the field of public health. You will also curate the professional, social, ethical, and political understanding of health you need to succeed from in- and out-of-the-classroom experiences. Coastal areas are highly productive and resource-rich ecosystems and also account for some of the most sought-after real estate in the world. Multiple uses, potentially conflicting interests, and economic and social dependency create ever more complex issues of sustainability, environmental law and policy, and resource management.
