The Bachelor of Business Data Analytics program is focused on using data analytics techniques to improve business decision making.  It is a quantitative program, combining elements of statistics, computing, big data and machine learning. The Bachelor of Business Data Analytics is taught via smaller classes for personalised attention and unparalleled access to facilities like the Bond University Business School’s Big Data Centre. The program develops students’ skills in the development and understanding of analytics and analytic techniques and focuses on how these techniques can be used to solve real-world business problems and better inform evidence-based decision making. Employment opportunities include working in business as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or statistics consultant.

The Bachelor of Policy, Philosophy and Economics is an inter-disciplinary degree equipping you with technical, practical and cultural knowledge and skills required for successful careers in public administration and the not-for-profit sector. It combines study in Law, Politics, Economics and Philosophy with the flexibility of a five subject elective program.  The Bachelor of Policy, Philosophy and Economics prepares you for future positions in the public sector, including career opportunities in the public service, politics, public policy institutes, advocacy groups and the not-for-profit sector.

If you are looking to develop or enhance your expertise in the rapidly expanding field of professional communication, the Master of Communication is for you. As a student in the program, you will gain applied skills and knowledge in advertising, public relations, social media, human communication theory, relational communication, organisational communication and leadership, and communication research. You will also undertake a research project of your own choosing. Throughout the program, you will develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills in professional communication to equip you for roles in the fields of advertising, public relations, social media, research, management and leadership, and internal communication in private, public, and non-profit organisations.

Bond University’s Master of Occupational Therapy program is designed to produce highly competitive graduates with comprehensive clinical skills as well as possessing a solid business acumen and research experience. It is the first Occupational Therapy Masters in Australia to offer you the opportunity to complete a clinical research project or undertake business electives in preparation for a career in private practice. You will engage in either the Clinically-focused Research Pathway or Business-focused Pathway. The Clinically-focused Research Pathway prepares you for entry into higher research degrees and careers in research and academia, as well as bolstering research networks and culminates in an individual research project that may be eligible for publication.  The Business-focused Research Pathway enables you to undertake business electives that will enable you to undertake management roles, and better prepare you to work in the growing private sector. The pathway culminates in an industry research project where you will apply both research and business skills. You will be taught by academics and industry staff who are current practising clinicians with up to date industry knowledge.

The Master of Project Management (Professional) program provides a comprehensive business-ready foundation that will equip students from any background with the knowledge required to develop a career and expertise in project management. The Master of Project Management (Professional) features four distinct study themes including strategy, sustainability, managing complex problems and teams, and virtual teams, and global working. The curriculum addresses a range of topics including conflict resolution, effective integrated planning, management, market performance, portfolio management, public and private sector investment and risk identification. External speakers from leading investment banks, credit agencies, and portfolio fund managers contribute to case studies and workshops.

The Professional Portfolio subject within the program is strongly experientially oriented and encourages students to develop their professional skills in a real-world environment. The subject ensures that students combine self-analysis and reflective learning skills with business and professional methodologies, so as to expand analytic and strategic thinking capabilities. It provides practical experience for students to develop their skills in a profession relevant to their Master's specialization. All students are required to complete a 2,000-word scoping document, and undertake either a work placement in Australia for 210 hours (which includes an employer's report and a reflective journal) or an alternative on-campus project (PM-BOT) or research-related fieldwork (which includes evidence collection, critical reflection and implications for the industry), plus a final professional portfolio collection of documents highlighting their practical and theoretical experiences in their profession of choice. Additional Professional Portfolio options may be available to eligible students, these options require Faculty approval prior to commencement.

The Bachelor of Jurisprudence offers students the opportunity to develop their legal knowledge and combine this with studies of interest from the Faculty of Society and Design. It is not a program for admission purposes.

The Bachelor of Jurisprudence program provides an opportunity to combine legal subjects of particular interest with study in related disciplines such as international relations, criminology, languages, or communication. The degree structure permits various combinations of law and non-law subjects (including the option of completing a humanities major), which enables you to design a program to meet your particular career interests.

The Bond University Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Performance equip you with comprehensive knowledge and applied skills in health, fitness, and sports performance. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the basic and applied sciences as they apply to personal and community health and fitness, and sports performance at all levels. Focusing on real-world learning, this program is delivered by award-winning teaching staff through significant practical experience and authentic assessment to maximize employment outcomes for graduates. This program allows you the flexibility to tailor your studies to your interests and career aspirations by choosing from a range of subdisciplines, including biomechanics; exercise testing, prescription, and delivery; or physiology and biochemistry of exercise, as well as electives in entrepreneurship and innovation, sport management, and tourism and events management.

This program is primarily delivered at the Bond Institute of Health and Sport where you will gain high-quality and practical learning experiences through our National Strength and Conditioning Association-accredited High-Performance Training Centre. These facilities provide sports science testing, training, and recovery services to state, national and international athletes and teams. You will also gain industry accreditations in Strength and Conditioning as well as Sports First Aid. The program prepares graduates for exciting career opportunities in exercise and sports performance including strength and conditioning as well as providing an accelerated undergraduate pathway to graduate-entry studies including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutrition, and dietetic practice, and high-performance sports science.

The Master of Construction Practice covers a comprehensive range of subjects in the field of construction practice, focusing on the management and delivery of complex construction projects. The curriculum addresses a range of topics including building structures and soil mechanics, construction technology, construction techniques, plant and equipment, contract administration, building measurement, finance and cost planning, project management, refurbishment and retrofitting and risks. The program is accredited by the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The program also meets the educational requirements of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) for attainment of an Open Builders License.

The Master of Architecture is the accredited professional degree for a career in architecture, complying with the competency requirements of the Board of Architects Queensland and the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia. The Master of Architecture provides a tailored architectural education in a creative studio-based environment focusing heavily upon design through hands-on and digital making with state-of-the-art tools. Project-based design studios focus upon real-world scenarios with specific attention to urbanism, the future of global cities, and the role of architecture and the architect in addressing urban, environmental, social, and technological change. Graduates will display mastery of architectural design abilities that are creative, critical, analytical, and spatial and based in advanced historical, theoretical, technical and disciplinary knowledge. All graduates will complete a design thesis as the cumulative result of the Masters course that demonstrates independent, self-directed critical thinking and sophisticated design capability. Through the program offerings at the Abedian School of Architecture, issues of pressing international and national concern form the core content of the studio curriculum. Among the most prominent of these are the challenges posed by our contemporary condition globally, one characterised by rapid urbanisation, environmental change, technological emergence, and increasing socioeconomic inequity. The Master of Architecture will prepare students for globally-relevant employment through development of a sophisticated set of disciplinary competencies and acquired knowledge, providing the ability to synthesise diverse information in the resolution of complex creative-design challenges using a globally-applicable skillset that is deployed locally.     Established as a highly-flexible and student-focused degree program, students in the Master of Architecture will study for 4 semesters full time, domestic students may also chose to study part-time. Studies include content from the disciplines of architecture, digital media, construction, city planning, urban design, and university electives. Key highlights of the program include an annual all-school “charrette”, several off-campus study tours (including a paid international studio trip for eligble* students), a monthly international guest-lecture series, study with distinguished guest faculty and Architects-In-Residence, a bi-annual student exhibition and publication, and an internationally and nationally recognised academic staff of scholars and practitioner-teachers. Students undertake the Master of Architecture in a unique setting: the national and international award-winning Abedian School of Architecture. This facility and its associated Fabrication and Robotics Lab are dedicated for student use, creating an environment to support creative activity that is accessible 24/7 throughout the year. Students enjoy their own studio-based desk in the School provided for the duration of their studies, which becomes the point of personalised contact with program staff for an individualised, highly supported education. The limited student cohort size of the School is maintained to ensure all students have unique access to workshop facilities and program staff that is unparalleled almost anywhere globally. The Master of Architecture is the terminal award allowing graduates to gain registration as an Architect in Australia and other jurisdictions that recognise the award. Upon completion and to earn registered status, graduates must complete a period of supervised employment experience (minimum 2 years) and pass a registration exam for recognition in Australia. The Master of Architecture provides knowledge, skill, and application (where required) of core competencies including design and documentation, practice management, project management, and understanding of contract law and project procurement. *Student participation in the International study tour is subject to VISA approval, alternative teaching activities will be organised for students not able to travel.
