The Master of International Hotel and Tourism Management program is designed for students seeking senior management roles, or wanting to own and operate their own business, within the hotel and tourism industries. Students will complete a program of core business and advanced hotel and tourism management subjects. These advanced subjects are designed to equip graduates with key capabilities expected of managers in the hotel and tourism sectors - including the ability to analyse complex information; develop strategies to identify and manage risk; build business resilience; embed sustainable practices into the business, and manage revenue. The program prepares students to think critically, communicate professionally, work collaboratively, make ethical and responsible business decisions, and work effectively in senior management positions in an industry which is characterised by change and uncertainty.

The Master of Financial Management (Professional) is a postgraduate qualification which provides the essential knowledge and analytical skills for making key financial decisions faced by corporate managers, business bankers, wealth advisors and financial managers. Students receive personal development and professional practice as a result of the 20-week Professional component. The classes combine theoretical knowledge in finance with practical insights delivered through case studies and guest lectures. The Master of Architecture is the accredited professional degree for a career in architecture, complying with the competency requirements of the Board of Architects Queensland and the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia. The Master of Architecture provides a tailored architectural education in a creative studio-based environment focusing heavily upon design through hands-on and digital making with state-of-the-art tools. Project-based design studios focus upon real-world scenarios with specific attention to urbanism, the future of global cities, and the role of architecture and the architect in addressing urban, environmental, social, and technological change. Graduates will display mastery of architectural design abilities that are creative, critical, analytical, and spatial and based in advanced historical, theoretical, technical and disciplinary knowledge. All graduates will complete a design thesis as the cumulative result of the Masters course that demonstrates independent, self-directed critical thinking and sophisticated design capability. Through the program offerings at the Abedian School of Architecture, issues of pressing international and national concern form the core content of the studio curriculum. The Master of Architecture will prepare students for globally-relevant employment through development of a sophisticated set of disciplinary competencies and acquired knowledge, providing the ability to synthesise diverse information in the resolution of complex creative-design challenges using a globally-applicable skillset that is deployed locally.     Established as a highly-flexible and student-focused degree program, students in the Master of Architecture will study for 4 semesters full time, domestic students may also chose to study part-time. Studies include content from the disciplines of architecture, digital media, construction, city planning, urban design, and university electives. Key highlights of the program include an annual all-school “charrette”, several off-campus study tours (including a paid international studio trip for eligble* students), a monthly international guest-lecture series, study with distinguished guest faculty and Architects-In-Residence, a bi-annual student exhibition and publication, and an internationally and nationally recognised academic staff of scholars and practitioner-teachers. Students undertake the Master of Architecture in a unique setting: the national and international award-winning Abedian School of Architecture. The Master of Architecture is the terminal award allowing graduates to gain registration as an Architect in Australia and other jurisdictions that recognise the award. Upon completion and to earn registered status, graduates must complete a period of supervised employment experience (minimum 2 years) and pass a registration exam for recognition in Australia. The Master of Architecture provides knowledge, skill, and application (where required) of core competencies including design and documentation, practice management, project management, and understanding of contract law and project procurement. *Student participation in the International study tour is subject to VISA approval, alternative teaching activities will be organised for students not able to travel.

Designed for students who wish to study via a two-semester model, this three-year program means you will study during the January and May semesters of each year only and will complete the degree over three years rather than the usual two.

The Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management (3 Year Program) will prepare you for professional and managerial roles in the global tourism and hotel industries. You will develop the knowledge and skills required by managers in modern hospitality and tourism businesses with special emphasis on; hotel, tourism and event operations, sustainable tourism, tourism industry analysis, revenue management, and human resource management. Emphasis is placed on practical and experiential learning through field trips, work experience, internships, and real-life case studies. Students will undertake an Industry Experience Placement or an Employment activity as part of the Beyond Bond program.

The Bond University Bachelor of Health Sciences is a 2-year accelerated degree designed for students who wish to explore a variety of disciplines in the health sciences, as well as provide a pathway to postgraduate specialised study. During this program, you will gain an understanding of basic and applied sciences including the anatomical, molecular, physiological, and psychological processes of human health and function. The program provides a degree of flexibility, enabling you to select a variety of subjects to explore that best suit your career and study goals. The program focuses on real-world learning, where you will gain exceptional, high-quality practical experience in our health science and human movement laboratories. You will be able to develop and master technical-scientific and research skills using some of the latest research equipment, which can be applied across a broad range of industries. The Master of Construction Practice covers a comprehensive range of subjects in the field of construction practice, focusing on the management and delivery of complex construction projects. The curriculum addresses a range of topics including building structures and soil mechanics, construction technology, construction techniques, plant and equipment, contract administration, building measurement, finance and cost planning, project management, refurbishment and retrofitting and risks. The program is accredited by the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The program also meets the educational requirements of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) for attainment of an Open Builders License. The ’Professional’ component of the degree involves an additional 20 weeks to the Master of Construction Practice program. This component enables students to develop their work ready skills to expand their analytic and strategic thinking capabilities through self analysis focused on work place outcomes and context. It also provides practical experience for students to appreciate the requirements of an industry workplace and develop their communication skills to improve their employability. Students will undertake either a Work Placement in Australia (210 hours) OR a complete Professional Program (210 hours) that offers students a mix of classroom learning and practical experiences incorporating skills sessions, industry guest involvement, projects and practical assessment pieces replicating workplace tasks.

The Master of Building Information Modelling and Integrated Project Delivery program prepares students for advanced involvement as relevant BIM/Lean/IPD Managers in their work environment, for the benefit of projects and their stakeholders.

The program is delivered in intensive mode and has the objective of preparing industry professionals to serve as BIM/Lean/IPD managers. While the course does cover various BIM-related technologies, it does not prepare students to be specialist technicians in the niche areas of the technologies covered by the curriculum. The program includes a capstone subject (40 credit points) in which students work on a realistic BIM/Lean/IPD project that requires application, analysis and synthesis of complex ‘project’ data. Limited placement opportunites may be available based on required performance criteria.

You will engage in either the Clinically-focused Research Pathway or Business-focused Pathway.
