The Bachelor of Film and Television is a heavily hands-on and project-based degree that allows you to balance practical filmmaking production experience with creative practice theory, enabling you to explore and develop your individual creativity and artistic voice. This comprehensive filmmaking program is focused on visual storytelling through the key creative areas of producing, screenwriting, directing, cinematography, editing, sound design, production design, and television broadcasting. You will be taught by staff with long professional careers in the film, television and screen-based industries, acquiring craft skills in modern production techniques using professional filmmaking equipment and technologies. You will develop strong visual aesthetics and storytelling capabilities and receive insight into the business and industrial aspects of the international film, television and screen-based industries. This three-year program is designed for international students who wish to study via a two-semester a year model, allowing them to complete the program over three year period.

The Bachelor of Project Management concerns projectised decision-making applicable to a wide range of different industry sectors. It builds on three foundation semesters comprising business acumen, project framework, process analysis and core skill development before three further practice semesters comprising technical, tactical and strategic decision-making. The Master of Valuation and Property Development (Professional) provides a wide range of skills that can be applied to global property markets. This program is designed to equip graduates with strong knowledge and advanced technical skills applicable to a variety of career paths such as property valuation and investment, finance, asset management and research. The curriculum addresses a range of topics including finance and taxation, corporate portfolio management, risk identification and management, feasibility analysis, law, property valuation and market analysis. This degree provides the opportunity to specialise in Property Valuation. Professional Portfolio is a 20 week, 45 credit point subject available to Masters of Valuation and Property Development (Professional) students in the Faculty of Society & Design. This subject is strongly experientially oriented and encourages students to develop their professional skills in a real world environment. The subject will ensure that students combine self-analysis and reflective learning skills with professional methodologies, so as to expand analytic and strategic thinking capabilities. It will provide practical experience for students to develop their skills in a profession relevant to their Master’s specialisation. All students will complete a 2,000-word scoping document, and either undertake a work placement in Australia for 210 hours (which includes an employer’s report) and reflective journal (up to 5,000 words) OR complete a collaborative research project totalling up to 15,000 words. All students will submit a final professional portfolio collection of documents, highlighting their practical and theoretical expertise in their profession of choice.

The Bachelor of Creative Arts is an innovative program that tailors its offerings to students’ unique ambitions and interests. The personalised nature of the program empowers students to identify their own ambitions, then equips them with the skills, theory and practice to navigate existing pathways—or design their own. Creative Arts students undertake three majors. All students begin with creative writing subjects to develop a range of foundation skills in creative thinking and narrative. Students also select a specialist creative major (Advertising; Communication & Society; Corporate Storytelling; Digital Media; Film & Television; Journalism; Media Studies; Public Relations or Social Media). Within their creative specialisation, students learn through a hands-on, project-based approach to learning, where they are encouraged to develop industry relationships, undertake creative internships and practice and publish within their chosen creative niches. Finally, the flexible program enables students to ground their creative endeavours within a third major. A creative entrepreneur may pursue a business major, an aspiring thriller writer might study criminology or a documentary filmmaker might study international relations to better understand working in a non–profit organisation. In the final stages of their degree, students will have the opportunity to develop a substantial creative project, which will knit what they have learned across their three selected content areas together into a major portfolio piece showcasing their skills and talents.

The Master of Criminology (Professional) program provides you with skill development and training as well as scholarly appreciation of crime, justice and forensic issues. The program provides an understanding of a broad range of issues involving criminology theories, contemporary information on crime prevention, the theory and practice of punishment, criminal offenders, the police, courts and correctional institutions, including current crime and deviance issues. You will be provided with both knowledge and research skills and techniques required for the analysis of criminological issues and an understanding of how to critically evaluate published research. At the end of the program, you will undertake a professional portfolio involving your  research and practical expertise in your chosen vocational area.  Eligibility criteria applies to the professional placement option.  The program duration is 4 semesters and 20 weeks (92 weeks).

The Bond MBA is a generalist management program of 12 subjects.
