The Master of Actuarial Science (Professional) is an innovative and immersive program with an additional 20-week Professional component that combines elements of economics, finance, statistics, data analytics and advanced mathematics to develop techniques for the management of risk and business decision making.  The Master of Actuarial Science (Professional) will be taught via smaller classes for personalised attention and unparalleled access to Bond University's Bond Fin Tech Hub and Bloomberg data-sourcing terminals. The program will develop skills in the challenge of handling 'big data’ to create practical solutions for real-world problems. Employment opportunities include working as an investment analyst, portfolio manager, actuarial consultant, insurance actuary, superannuation actuary, risk analyst, big data analyst, liability manager and high-level manager. The successful completion of the program at an appropriate level of performance will lead to Part I qualification with the Actuaries Institute.

The Bond University Bachelor of Health Sciences is a 2-year accelerated degree designed for students who wish to explore a variety of disciplines in the health sciences, as well as provide a pathway to postgraduate specialised study. During this program, you will gain an understanding of basic and applied sciences including the anatomical, molecular, physiological, and psychological processes of human health and function. The program provides a degree of flexibility, enabling you to select a variety of subjects to explore that best suit your career and study goals. The program focuses on real-world learning, where you will gain exceptional, high-quality practical experience in our health science and human movement laboratories. You will be able to develop and master technical-scientific and research skills using some of the latest research equipment, which can be applied across a broad range of industries. The Bachelor of Business Data Analytics is taught via smaller classes for personalised attention and unparalleled access to facilities like the Bond University Business School’s Big Data Centre. The program develops students’ skills in the development and understanding of analytics and analytic techniques and focuses on how these techniques can be used to solve real-world business problems and better inform evidence-based decision making. The combined Masters program in Criminology and Project Management enables students interested in a career in crime prevention, justice and forensic issues to acquire expertise in the planning, implementation and management of projects and programs. The addition of project and program management skills enables you to access more strategic positions in your organisation and to be responsible for overseeing new initiatives involving the management of scope, time, cost and risk. On completion of the combined program, you will graduate with a Master of Criminology and a Master of Project Management which is internationally recognised by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

If you are looking to develop or enhance your expertise in the rapidly expanding field of professional communication, the Master of Communication is for you. As a student in the program, you will gain applied skills and knowledge in advertising, public relations, social media, human communication theory, relational communication, organisational communication and leadership, and communication research. You will also undertake a research project of your own choosing. Designed for students who wish to study via a two-semester model, this three-year program means you will study during the January and September semesters of each year only and will complete the degree over three years rather than the usual two. The Bachelor of Commerce (3 Year) develops financial literacy, business analytic and decision-making skills, leadership, and management skills through experiential learning and authentic assessment tasks relevant to the choice of major. The program equips students to think creatively and critically, problem-solve, communicate professionally, work collaboratively, make ethical and responsible business decisions, and work effectively in a global business context characterised by change and uncertainty. Depending on the major selected, students are prepared for a professional career in Accounting, Actuarial Science, Economics or Finance fields. By undertaking a specified set of subjects according to their chosen discipline, Bachelor of Commerce (3 Year) students graduating with an Accounting, Actuarial Science or Finance major are eligible to pursue professional qualifications offered by their field’s governing bodies.
