We have a multidisciplinary research base that offers opportunities to conduct biomedical research in a range of areas.

The Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Honours) provides industry-based participatory learning.

In this degree, you will gain experience, skills and knowledge that can only be obtained from within the pharmaceutical science industry.

Placement allocation is determined by a competitive process. Based on student areas of interest, partners conduct interviews and select their preferred candidates.

Graduates continuing into honours from the RMIT Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences undergraduate degree will commence placement selection in third year.

Applicants graduating from an equivalent degree from other institutions will liaise with the program coordinator to facilitate preferences and placement interview times after application and enrolment.

You'll examine how such disorders affect biomechanics, the nervous system and health in general. The focus is on manual treatments such as spinal adjustments and other joint and soft-tissue manipulation.

Anatomy, physiology and pathology courses underpin the clinical science studies of physical examination, differential diagnosis for the chiropractor and clinical practicum.

You will begin work-integrated learning immediately, culminating in your fourth year when you will perform patient-care duties with supervision from a registered practitioner.

At the RMIT Health Clinic at University Hill, Bundoora, fourth and fifth year students, under the supervision of registered chiropractors, treat patients using a wide variety of management approaches.

During your studies, you will have the flexibility to specialise in either advanced automotive design and development or automotive manufacturing.

Using contemporary engineering methods and computational and experimental tools, including advanced computer-aided engineering software such as LS-DYNA, you’ll gain hands-on experience in several state-of-the-art experimental facilities—including the full-scale Vehicle Wind Tunnel, Driverless Vehicles Lab, Green Engines Research Laboratory and Vehicle NVH Laboratory.

The Master of Engineering (International Automotive Engineering) promotes hands-on practice by incorporating a project that will enable you to apply the learned technologies to a real-world automotive system application.

This degree focuses on sustainable design and manufacturing practices based on the entire lifecycle (from 'cradle to grave') of vehicles. This incorporates the design for disposal and recycle, disassembly, lifecycle assessment, alternative fuels, and powertrains and light structures.

Through project-based learning and the exploration of real-life problems with industry peers, you’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of the product lifecycle and systems design of modern automobiles and associated technologies. You’ll also have the opportunity to complete work experience with multinational companies, enhancing your employment opportunities in the global job market.

In RMIT's Bachelor of Engineering (Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics) (Honours) degree, you’ll learn about mechatronics, robotics, advanced materials, automated systems and the simulation and modelling of manufacturing processes.

As automation replaces people in various industry sectors, engineers with experience in robotics and mechatronics will be highly sought after.

This professionally accredited degree will prepare you to work in a wide range of industries and as a graduate, you'll demonstrate skills across mathematics, engineering, mechatronics, design and creativity. Mental Health Nurses are specialist registered nurses with key responsibilities to assess, plan and provide care for people who are often vulnerable and in crisis. Advance your nursing career with the Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing, which would enhance your ability to deliver recovery focused care in a variety of mental health settings.
Professionally recognised

This diploma is a core requirement that can be used in your application to be credentialed by the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses, which will allow you to practice as a recognised Mental Health Nurse. Upon graduation, you will be able to access a Graduate Diploma allowance under the Victorian Public Mental Health Nurses award and seek promotional positions that require this qualification.
