The Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) (Honours) will provide you with the skills to become a professional and highly employable mechanical engineer, within a national and international context.

In the first two years of this internationally accredited degree, you’ll learn the fundamentals of engineering sciences, mathematics, engineering design, and engineering professional practice.

RMIT's Bachelor of Food Technology and Nutrition will provide you with a foundational knowledge of the science of manufacturing food and making it safe and nutritious.

Major in food technology or nutrition (or both). The nutrition major focuses on human health and nutrition subjects, while the food technology major deals with traditional and novel technologies employed in the manufacture of food products, as well as sensory evaluation of foods, product development and quality assurance.

It is a unique supervisor-guided independent research project with complimentary workshops in research methods and scientific communication appropriate to your chosen research discipline. Specifically, the benefits of an honours degree are:

The transferable skills and independent research experience gained as part of this honours degree are unique from those learnt during undergraduate studies. In consultation with the program coordinator and your potential supervisor, you’ll be allocated a project that aims to complement your skills and areas of interest.

A Bachelor of Psychology from RMIT will provide you with a wide range of knowledge and skills in human behaviour.

In addition to the principles of personality, psychopathology and psychotherapy, you will explore social, developmental, biological and cognitive psychology, as well as research methods in psychology.

Thoughout the psychology degree, you will explore topics such as perception and consciousness, theories of learning, memory, cognition, emotion, motivation, and stress. You will also undertake studies in Health Wellbeing and Nutrition, Counselling and Virtual Care, as well as concepts behind Working with Psychological Health.
