The Master of Photography enables socially-engaged photographers to lead developments in the technological, cultural, environmental and political role of photography today.

Utilising a dynamic studio-based learning and independent project environment, this degree encourages you to experiment and take creative risks before mastering your own process and craft.

You will develop skills and knowledge through a combination of practice-led research and professional development opportunities. You will establish and define your photography practice to be industry ready for presentation, publication or for commercial markets. The capstone experience of this degree is a major photographic project that is publicly presented for critical review.

The Master of Photography is designed to challenge you to apply and analyse photographic theory, mediate the relationship between technology and image making, and foster new approaches to writing, practicing, and exhibiting photography.

The Bachelor of Communication (Advertising) has three distinct focuses: art direction, copywriting, and strategy planning/account management. There is a strong focus on critical and conceptual thinking. You will learn how to use these skills to solve marketing problems, generate attention for brands and products and build an emotional bond between a brand and consumers.

This degree offers you a creative advertising degree that combines theoretical and industry knowledge with hands-on professional skills including copywriting, art direction and strategy planning. It provides an overview of the role and value of advertising within broader marketing and communication practice, as well as in depth study of advertising media, strategic and creative disciplines. RMIT's Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering) (Honours) will enable you to find better solutions to challenges in the design, construction and maintenance of embedded systems, firmware development, electronic hardware, communication and network systems.

This could include the automation of electrical and electronic systems; audio and visual information acquisition, digital signal processing; human-machine interaction, industrial or medical instrumentation and monitoring; reconfigurable logic development; distributed computing and provision of security for computer systems and networks.

You will learn to design and build devices and systems that transfer and store information via radio frequency or optical fibre transmissions, and manage and secure the flow of information through such systems.

RMIT's Bachelor of Space Science will develop critical skills in space science and technology, connecting the upstream (build/launch) and downstream (application of space-related products and services) industries.

Work integrated learning is an essential part of the degree. You'll be able to undertake a 12-week industry placement so that you can immerse yourself in the world of space. Some of these placements are run through Saber Astronautics, Bureau of Meteorology and CSIRO.
