The Master of Design may be undertaken in a project or thesis mode. This decision is made in consultation with your supervisor.

In the Diploma of Information Technology you will be guided by experienced teachers with extensive industry experience to develop a project portfolio designed to help launch a career in IT.

As part of your study in a world-class university environment, you will learn how to:

In this advanced diploma, you’ll gain the theoretical and practical skills to work as a technical officer or engineering supervisor in the mechanical and manufacturing industries.

Studying the Master of Translating and Interpreting in the heart of Melbourne, you'll learn how to use communication media to support translating and interpreting, and gain insight into the intersection of theory and practice.

This diploma is suitable for those who already have bilingual skills, but have not yet reached the required level of specialised language proficiency for the Advanced Diploma of Interpreting.

Interpreters provide a critical service, helping people to overcome language barriers when accessing community services in areas such as health, education, law, business and travel.

You’ll gain basic transfer skills for interpreting in general conversational settings, learn about professional ethics, and improve language proficiency. You'll develop the skills to conduct transactions, interactions, and negotiations at a functional level.

Students studying spoken language will explore legal and medical terminology, while Auslan interpreting students will learn about health and education terminology.

The Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media (Directing) is delivered as part of a sequence, beginning with the Diploma of Screen and Media (Content Creation).

Upon satisfactory completion of the diploma you will be eligible to progress to the advanced diploma.

This advanced diploma gives you the broad base necessary to move ahead in the art, design, screen and media industries. This degree is designed as part of the Advanced Fashion and Textiles Design Studios, where you will be immersed in creatively challenging and engaging contemporary practice.

As a graduate, you will be able to demonstrate design strategies that reflect contemporary practice, emerging markets and economies, and materially-led design across and outside the textile and fashion design discipline.
