RMIT's Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering) (Honours) will enable you to find better solutions to challenges in the design, construction and maintenance of embedded systems, firmware development, electronic hardware, communication and network systems.

This could include the automation of electrical and electronic systems; audio and visual information acquisition, digital signal processing; human-machine interaction, industrial or medical instrumentation and monitoring; reconfigurable logic development; distributed computing and provision of security for computer systems and networks.

You will learn to design and build devices and systems that transfer and store information via radio frequency or optical fibre transmissions, and manage and secure the flow of information through such systems.   

In this flexible degree, tailored for you, you will have a wide range of options to specialise in various sub-areas of electronic and computer systems engineering, including:

In the award-winning Associate Degree in Design (Furniture Design), you will learn to make creative and original?furniture designs with a strong grounding in design methods, manufacturing technologies?and processes informed by cultural and social factors.

As a student of this degree, you will work on combining real-life industry projects and design theory with a hands-on focus on production to create sustainable contemporary modern furniture products. It teaches you to investigate contemporary, cultural and environmental aspects of professional furniture design practice.

You will gain the skills to explore design through real-world industry projects with highly-regarded design companies, and connect with Australian and international industry mentors who will work with you to provide feedback on the commercial viability of your design work.

As a graduate, you’ll have the opportunity to compete in local and international design competitions such as London Design Week, Fringe Design, Workshopped Design Show Australia, and VIVID (Décor + Design).

Through intensive studio-based research and workshop practice, you will develop creative autonomy and a critical and ethical understanding of photography that will allow you to make significant cultural contributions.

The Bachelor of Arts (Photography) (Honours) is designed for students who have successfully completed a three-year degree in photography, and who wish to undertake a further year of study to focus exclusively on an individual project.

The degree will also appeal to commercial photographers, photographers with commissioned practices (such as advertising, editorial or fashion photographers), photojournalists, socially-engaged practitioners, artists, designers, and other creative industry professionals seeking a more advanced studio practice in photography.

The Master of Photography enables socially-engaged photographers to lead developments in the technological, cultural, environmental and political role of photography today.

Utilising a dynamic studio-based learning and independent project environment, this degree encourages you to experiment and take creative risks before mastering your own process and craft.

You will develop skills and knowledge through a combination of practice-led research and professional development opportunities. You will establish and define your photography practice to be industry ready for presentation, publication or for commercial markets. The capstone experience of this degree is a major photographic project that is publicly presented for critical review.

The Master of Photography is designed to challenge you to apply and analyse photographic theory, mediate the relationship between technology and image making, and foster new approaches to writing, practicing, and exhibiting photography.
