The Master of Human Resource Management degree focuses on a diverse global workforce. You will develop critical awareness of the legal, ethical, social, economic and environmental challenges and implications of HR strategy, operations, processes and decision making.

Blockchain Enabled Business
Be equipped with the the knowledge and skills you will need to apply and manage blockchain in public and private enterprises, through multi-disciplinary study.

The environment faces threats and challenges that include climate change, habitat loss, overpopulation, emerging contaminant and pollution events, and food and water security.

The breadth of these environmental challenges requires a combination of knowledge and skills in chemistry, biology, statistics, research, and earth sciences for an interdisciplinary approach to surmounting these difficulties.

In RMIT's Bachelor of Environmental Science, you will learn about the biogeochemical processes that occur in both natural and degraded environments, and specialise with areas of study like environmental biology, environmental chemistry, geosciences or geospacial sciences.

Over the course of your environmental studies, you will undertake both practical and industry-relevant activities, where you will:

• Gain considerable hands-on experience with equipment, both in the laboratory and in the field
• Undertake frequent field trips during the second and third year
• Work on collaborative projects with industry, gaining hands-on experience.

These activities involve working in small groups to foster teamwork and a collaborative approach to research and projects.

In the Master of Teaching Practice (Primary Education) you’ll combine hands-on experiences with theoretical learning. In this honours degree, you will have the opportunity to expand your fashion design knowledge, refine your vision, further research your design practice, and pitch your work to industry.

We seek to imagine future commercial contexts, create ethical design propositions, and use cross-disciplinary design strategies to drive global and competitive fashion design practices. You will extend your design, communication and presentation methods and strategies for fashion garments, products, accessories, objects, artefacts, materials, spaces and experiences of and for the body.

You will graduate with a portfolio of practice, development and research to prepare you for your career. Additionally, you will work with academic staff and industry experts to produce a digital publication, showcasing your graduate outcomes globally.

Fashion at RMIT has a global reputation for excellence. This degree has a stellar record of students and graduates winning major fashion design awards and scholarships, and receiving the invitation to participate in national and international showcase events.

This Qualification has been superseded by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment and will change in 2023.

You can still apply for this program and you will be supported to transfer into the new qualification once it becomes available. This may result in changes to the program structure, content and fees.

The Advanced Diploma of Accounting has been designed to equip you with the theoretical and technical skills required to pursue work in the varied accounting and financial services industries.

The skills you will learn in this diploma will include:

• Preparing financial statements for a non-reporting entity
• Preparing tax returns

There is substantial government and industry investment in space science technology, highlighting the growing gap in skills, both in Australia and internationally.

RMIT's Bachelor of Space Science will develop critical skills in space science and technology, connecting the upstream (build/launch) and downstream (application of space-related products and services) industries.

There is no degree quite like this one in Australia. We lead the way in both space science and engineering research. We provide a unique mix of physics, engineering, geospatial science, mathematics, statistics, and specialised space studies. 

This degree encompasses multiple partnerships with national and international space companies and space agencies. Industry connections include Space Applications Services, Electro Optic Systems, Geoscience Australia and space agencies of countries around the world, such as USA (NASA), Japan, (JAXA), Europe (ESA) and Germany (DLR).

You will have access to state-of-the-art facilities including, the RMIT Optical Telescope, the SPACE Research Centre and the Virtual Experiences Laboratory, and the Space Industry Hub. 

Work integrated learning is an essential part of the degree. You'll be able to undertake a 12-week industry placement so that you can immerse yourself in the world of space. Some of these placements are run through Saber Astronautics, Bureau of Meteorology and CSIRO.

In the Master of Artificial Intelligence, you’ll learn to design and implement systems and applications in high-tech facilities, such as our newly developed Artificial Intelligence Lab.

The Master of Artificial Intelligence offers two stream options. In the project stream, you complete an AI postgraduate project and choose two electives from both AI and IT. In the research stream, you complete a research methods module, write a minor thesis, and select two electives.

We have been rated above world standard for our research in the field of AI and Image Processing. This course is among the most specialised in the country, with few other degrees focused on AI theory and applications in today’s climate. Curious and motivated students will develop advanced knowledge, placing them ahead of the pack for practical careers or research in AI.
