Individually supervised research programs are aligned to one of the School’s Centre for Materials Innovation and Future Fashion or the School’s research streams.

These research areas reflect the School’s research supervisors’ expertise along with the available resources and collaborative relationships with industry and other research organisations.

The Master of Design may be undertaken by project or by thesis mode:

• The project mode is directed towards candidates taking a creative practice-led approach to conduct research into fashion design, textile design, curatorial practice, communication, or interdisciplinary design.
• The thesis mode is directed towards candidates taking a social science approach to conduct research into an aspect of the fashion and textiles system such as design practice, curatorial practice, historical or contemporary cultural studies, enterprise or ethical practice.

In the Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology - Electrical, you'll learn to design, validate, and evaluate electrical equipment and systems, as well as provide technical advice and sales.

Electrical engineers design and maintain electrical systems to improve the production and distribution of energy. As our society increasingly depends on electrical and electronic devices, electrical engineers are in high demand.

In your career as an electrical engineer, you will design and maintain electrical systems in areas like aerospace, power utilities, mining, oil and gas, wind and solar food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, data centres, transport and logistics, and many others.

You’ll gain skills in electrical design, programmable logic controllers, supervisory control and data acquisition systems, industrial data networking, and motor control. Following graduation, you’ll be qualified to work in the electrical industry.

Combining studies in urban planning and built environment with the social, economic, and political environment, the Master of Urban Planning and Environment equips you to shape efficient, practical, healthy, and sustainable cities.

This degree is offered online and face-to face. It is primarily taught through evening classes during the week, with some topics delivered through intensive full-day workshops. All core topics and some electives are also offered online in case students aren’t able to study face-to-face.

This unique degree provides specialist training in computer-generated design with particular emphasis on game studies and art practice.

You'll study design, narrative, imaging, modelling, 2D and 3D animation, concept art, and game environments.
