Materials science covers chemistry, physics and engineering. From a chemical perspective it involves the design and molecular assembly of new smart materials that are useful chemically, physically or both. The Master of International Tourism and Hospitality Management helps graduates prepare for the next step in their career in the global tourism and hotel industry. You will develop skills essential for managerial-level graduates including advanced business acumen, strategic insight, high-level management skills and specialised industry knowledge - underscored by sustainability principles.

You will build on your core business skills in areas such as financial planning, hospitality management and marketing and enhance these with an understanding of how to manage in a culturally diverse context.

This program helps you to develop and further your career in public health practice, research and/or management. It allows you to re-orient your work interests in health to disease prevention and health promotion and is widely recognised both nationally and internationally as the public health credential for careers in public health.

The program focuses on the socio-ecological model of public health that emphasises and analyses the important interactions between the social, biological, economic and environmental determinants of health. They enable you to apply this analytical skill set to plan, implement and evaluate population based interventions that protect and promote health.

The program has a strong focus on global health and provides you with the opportunity to focus your public health studies by selecting from a range of electives in areas such as public health nutrition, health promotion, climate change, international health, environmental health, and health services management.

In this degree, you will develop the skills needed to work as an occupational therapist to deliver life changing outcomes. You will learn how to enable people to do the activities - occupations - they need or want to do in order to live a meaningful life, but have difficulty with due to illness, injury or other disadvantages.

You will study occupational therapy theory and practice, occupational science, and other sciences such as psychology, sociology and anatomy. With practical placements, starting in first year, you will apply the skills and knowledge to real life situations preparing you for the wide range of opportunities available to occupational therapists.

In this double degree, you will learn about key sustainability issues, such as energy, water and waste management, and develop an appreciation of the interrelationships between environmental sustainability and business success. Environmental Science component:-
Depending on your chosen major in the environmental science component, you will study topics such as environmental economics and policy, climate change, water resources, biodiversity and species loss, land management and urban environments.

Business component:-
The business component offers a suite of majors and courses that emphasise how core functions of business and management, such as communication, planning, teamwork, strategy, human resources and self-development, work together and relate to sustainability. You will develop the analytical, communication and decision-making skills needed for work in the business world, and graduate with an understanding of how these skills can be applied in an environmental context.

The final year includes a 'capstone' experience, where you will have the option to apply your skills to gain employment-relevant experience through a research project or industry internship.

In this degree, you will learn the multifaceted practice of professional Industrial Design, from the blue-sky activities of idea-generation and invention to the rigorous knowledge of engineering science. You'll learn through making as you get hands-on with advanced technologies, including 3D printing and other methods of cutting-edge manufacturing through to traditional craft/hand-making technologies and techniques. You will be prepared for careers ranging from design for mass-production to small scale manufacture and everything in between. This degree sits within the discipline of Architecture, Design and Planning and many of the core courses sit within the discipline of Mechanical Engineering. This postgraduate pre-service teacher education program is offered in intensive mode to enable completion in one and a half years or over two years full-time. The program provides professional preparation for teaching in primary school (Prep to Year 6) settings. It is designed for graduates from a non-education background wishing to teach in this context.

The program covers the theory and practice of teaching concentrating on the characteristics of learners; the social and educational contexts of education; curriculum studies and professional experience in relevant settings.

Medical scientists perform diagnostic tests of blood, tissues and other bodily fluids to help doctors diagnose diseases such as glandular fever, diabetes, swine flu and even cancer. Medical scientists can also recommend treatment options and help manage clinical trials.
