UNSW’s Bachelor of Commerce/Arts is a double degree that will equip you with business experience and expertise, combined with the creativity, analytical and critical thinking skills that come with an arts degree. Both degrees offer flexibility, allowing you to shape your degree to match your ambitions and interests.

The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. By combining your BCom with a Bachelor of Arts, you can choose from a diverse range of majors and subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. You'll develop an in-depth knowledge and breadth of understanding, gaining the tools to think critically, communicate effectively and conduct independent research.

The Master of Global Health (Extension)/Master of Public Health offers an innovative approach to postgraduate health education, enabling you to specialise in public health in international developing country contexts as well as Australia and other developed countries.

The Master of Global Health (Extension) provides an opportunity for high-achieving students to extend their studies by completing additional courses and a research project in global health. The Master of Public Health is recognised as essential for a career in population health. Studying this combination of degrees will cultivate sophisticated knowledge and skills in public health that you can apply to a broad range of highly complex population health issues in local and global settings. It meets a well-recognised need to strengthen public health capacities within Australia and internationally.

The Bachelor of Design/Bachelor of Media is a four-year double degree that shows you how to enlighten others with creative thinking and persuasive communications. Learn strategies to interest, inform, and inspire others while challenging conventions and designing new solutions to old problems.

Screen Production (Major)
Specialising in Screen Production for your Bachelor of Media at UNSW equips you with the skills, knowledge, and capabilities to pursue a creative career in media production. As you practice, you’ll build a portfolio of audio-visual work to leverage professionally.

You’ll have access to advanced multimedia labs, editing suites, digital video production and post-production facilities, and animation and audio production studios. You’ll learn using industry-standard video cameras, audio recorders, microphones, lights, dollies and gimbals, and advanced editing software. These facilities include our unique Esme Timbery Creative Practice Lab, which has a computer-controlled system for the perfect performance environment.

As a UNSW Media student, you have the option to enrol in a work-integrated learning course and gain credit points towards your degree. We offer a range of internship and placement opportunities, so you can put theory into practice and gain valuable professional experience.

This double degree is designed for students wishing to pursue a career in either Engineering or Biomedical Engineering. The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) will provide you with a solid background in mathematics, natural sciences and computing which give you knowledge and skills in your chosen engineering discipline specialisation.

Biomedical Engineering applies engineering principles to the development of technologies and solutions in a range of healthcare-related fields, including implantable bionics, drug delivery systems, medical imaging, radiotherapy, orthopaedic devices, robotic surgery, cell and tissue engineering, physical rehabilitation and others. This double degree is currently offered for select specialisations only.

When you study this degree you’ll graduate with a specialised knowledge in Biomedical Engineering and a related Engineering specialisation unique to your interests and professional aspirations. With two degrees you’ll increase your knowledge of engineering by studying across two disciplines, one being Biomedical Engineering.

This degree includes a practical component where you’ll apply your knowledge in practical settings through 60 days of approved industrial training in Australia or overseas. Industrial training will give you a taste of a real-world professional engineering setting and the hands-on experience to hit the ground running.

When you study engineering at UNSW you can take part in the ChallENG Program. Public Relations (Major)
Choosing to specialise in public relations & advertising for your Bachelor of Media at UNSW will provide you with practical skills, knowledge and experience you need for a career in these exciting and dynamic promotional industries.
