The type of engineer you’ll become often depends on the specialisation you choose in this degree. This degree offers 19 engineering specialisations across different engineering disciplines.

In this degree you’ll gain a solid background in mathematics, natural sciences and computing that’ll prepare you to learn knowledge and skills in an engineering discipline. You’ll graduate with the technical knowledge, skills and attributes required to succeed as a professional engineer.

UNSW’s Bachelor of Commerce/Arts is a double degree that will equip you with business experience and expertise, combined with the creativity, analytical and critical thinking skills that come with an arts degree. The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. By combining your BCom with a Bachelor of Arts, you can choose from a diverse range of majors and subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. The Master of Engineering is a flexible postgraduate degree delivered by UNSW Engineering, Australia’s leading engineering faculty. It's designed for students who require an accredited engineering qualification.

You’ll gain the accreditation required for a career in petroleum engineering, the oil and gas industry and other related sectors. While studying this degree you’ll explore a broad range of areas in petroleum engineering including:

• Drilling engineering

The Master of Engineering includes an integrated 60 days industrial training component and courses to develop your technical knowledge and skills in engineering management, analysis and design to ensure you graduate career-ready and accredited. Your education will provide in-depth knowledge as well as deeper project experience and increased technical confidence across selected research disciplines. This double degree is designed to allow students to gain accreditation as both Engineers and Surveyors, which gives them flexibility in their future careers.The Civil Engineering degree provides students with an excellent grounding in theory and applications, through the study of structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transport engineering and water engineering, as well as construction and management.

The Surveying component prepares graduates for opportunities in the various branches of Surveying and the numerous Spatial Information disciplines. The degree covers general scientific and IT principles, as well as specialised Surveying and Spatial Information topics.

The UNSW Master of International Relations recognises the complexity and the globalised nature of today’s world, and is specifically designed to advance your understanding of global politics and foreign policy.  Through this degree, you’ll critically examine theories and issues in contemporary world politics. You’ll explore international security, great-power rivalry, regional conflicts, nuclear proliferation, global environmental politics, civil conflict and terrorism, human rights, gender politics, international political economy, development and other pressing international issues.

Alongside this, you’ll learn to understand how these concepts and theories in international relations shape our view of the world. You will gain a deep understanding of public health and health management, including epidemiology, biostatistics, social determinants of health, health promotion, population-targeted health research methods, leadership and workforce management.
