UNSW’s Bachelor of Commerce/Arts is a double degree that will equip you with business experience and expertise, combined with the creativity, analytical and critical thinking skills that come with an arts degree. The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. By combining your BCom with a Bachelor of Arts, you can choose from a diverse range of majors and subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. You'll develop an in-depth knowledge and breadth of understanding, gaining the tools to think critically, communicate effectively and conduct independent research.

Studying this unique double degree, you’ll graduate with a distinct combination of quantitative and modelling skills from Actuarial Studies with methodological insights from your specialisation in Science.

Actuaries help businesses, governments, not-for-profit organisations and individuals make critical decisions for the future by evaluating risks and opportunities. Through the Bachelor of Actuarial Studies, you’ll learn to apply advanced analytical techniques, deliver highly valued data analytics, and actionable insights. You’ll also develop a specialist quantitative skill set in actuarial models, financial mathematics, probability, machine learning / artificial intelligence analytics, and commerce.

Chinese and International Business and Economic Law 

International business and economic law has become an integral element of globalisation. It provides the fundamental framework for regulating cross-border activities ranging from trade, investment and finance to treaty negotiations, rulemaking and dispute resolution. As one of the world's largest economies, China is now among the most influential players in using and shaping the international economic law order.  

In this Master of Laws specialisation, you'll acquire advanced knowledge and analytical ability across a broad spectrum of contemporary issues such as:

• The development of international trade and investment rules and policy
• The settlement of trade and investment disputes
• Technological developments and regulation (such as the regulation of digital financial services and e-commerce). 

This double degree combines the professional Bachelor of Laws with the Bachelor of Media to give you a unique understanding of how these two industries can influence, persuade and create important lasting change. Through your studies in media, you’ll be equipped with the expertise to make a difference in the exciting, challenging, and constantly evolving field of media. The UNSW Master of Translation is a 1.7 year full-time postgraduate degree that prepares you for a successful career as a certified translator, both in Australia and overseas. Choose from a variety of languages and industry specialisations. You'll learn current theory and critical skills from leading interpreting and linguistics practitioners and researchers, while gaining practical experience in professional settings.

Bioinformatics is where computing and the life sciences meet. It involves the development of technologies to work with and manage the huge volumes of genetic information being generated.

Bioinformatics is at the convergence of computing and the life sciences, and involves the development of technologies for storing, extracting, organising, analysing, interpreting and using the growing volume of genetic information being generated.The need to process and analyse vast amounts of information requires advances in both software technologies and hardware architectures.

In this degree you'll learn the foundation disciplines of bioinformatics, which includes biology (biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics), computing (algorithms, databases and programming), mathematics and statistics. You'll gain the skills to design and implement software for activities such as identifying the genes affected in specific cancer types.

The UNSW Bachelor of Architectural Studies is a three-year degree when studied full time. Here, you will learn to design buildings and their surrounds to meet the needs of the people who use them. The UNSW Bachelor of Fine Arts/Engineering (Honours) is a double-degree that can be completed in 5.7 years full-time, or the part-time equivalent.  

Through the Bachelor of Fine Arts, you'll explore your artistic ignite your creativity and explore your practice, build technical skills and knowledge, and learn from experts in practical and theoretical classes. With distinct and focused specialisations in music, animation and moving image, art theory, and visual arts – you can focus deeply on the creative field that inspires you.
