The Master of Global Health and Master of Infectious Diseases Intelligence double degree is an innovative approach to postgraduate health education. It enables you to better understand infectious diseases in the era of new and emerging disease threats as well as management approaches for the identification, assessment, prevention and control of infectious diseases.

This combination fosters a sophisticated understanding across a complex body of multidisciplinary knowledge including infectious diseases intelligence, policy design, implementation and evaluation. You will be equipped with the specialised skills and concepts needed for professional practice in the prevention, identification, assessment and control of infectious diseases.

You will become a judgement-ready practitioner who can contribute to improving population health and work across a range of contexts including government, non-government and voluntary organisations, military and first-responder organisations, primary care and community health care services.

The UNSW Master of Engineering Science (Nuclear Engineering) is designed for students who want to understand nuclear concepts that form the foundation of our universe. Through this degree you’ll develop the skills to apply these concepts to a variety of industries today and the technologies of the future. This postgraduate degree teaches you the underpinning theory behind nuclear engineering techniques, technologies and processes.

This degree also provides a stream that allows graduates from traditional engineering disciplines to pursue a career in high-tech industries including nuclear science, nuclear medicine, mining and resources, energy, manufacturing, aerospace, space exploration and defence. UNSW Master of Engineering Science in (Water, Wastewater and Waste Engineering) is a 2-year full-time postgraduate degree that promotes flexible learning at Australia’s leading engineering faculty. It’s designed for students who already have a four-year accredited engineering degree and want to broaden their job prospects through cross training, re-training or specialisation.

Water, like many natural resources, is the lifeblood of individuals and communities across the world. Effective and sustainable water and wastewater treatment are crucial for urban populations as well as environmentally responsible waste management. If you’re an engineer or professional interested in expanding your knowledge and skills in the area, this degree will cover current and future technologies for water usage, wastewater treatment and waste disposal. In this degree you’ll learn the fundamentals of current practices in this field and engage with existing and future technologies ensuring your degree is relevant today and tomorrow.
