Preparing for your audio-visual production career starts here. Throughout this three-year full-time degree, you will gain a range of audio, visual, and digital production skills that will equip you with the tools and knowledge to remain at the leading edge of local and international media industries.

With a career in sound production, video production, animation, film, or online games on the horizon – this degree will focus on conceptual knowledge and professional skills. Undertake hands-on learning with the latest technology, industry experience and a diverse team of academics and award-winning animators, filmmakers, scriptwriters, sound artists and game researchers ready to guide you along the way. 

Practicing using the latest cameras, audio recorders, microphones, lights, dollies and gimbals – you’ll build a strong portfolio of audio-visual work you can leverage professionally. You’ll also have access to advanced multimedia labs, digital video production and post-production facilities, animation and audio production studios. This includes our Esme Timbery Creative Practice Lab, which has a system of computer-controlled amplification for the perfect performance environment.

UNSW’s Business School’s Master of Commerce Extension (MCom (Ext)) is a postgraduate coursework degree that can be completed in two-years full-time. Designed in consultation with industry, this degree prepares you with a depth of knowledge, a breadth of experience, and the hands-on experience needed to succeed across diverse careers in business.

With a specialisation in international business, you can become a professional globetrotter, join a borderless boardroom, and change how the world does business. This study area will set you up with strong foundations in business, commerce, and/or economics, with the added bonus of one-year compulsory overseas exchange. You can even incorporate language study into your program.

UNSW’s Bachelor of Commerce/Arts is a double degree that will equip you with business experience and expertise, combined with the creativity, analytical and critical thinking skills that come with an arts degree. The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. By combining your BCom with a Bachelor of Arts, you can choose from a diverse range of majors and subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. Environmental engineers focus on the impact on the natural world by engineering activities. They combine their broad knowledge of engineering and environmental processes in identifying environmental problems and then developing effective solutions. They also coordinate the activities of various specialist groups such as biologists, ecologists and geologists within major projects.

Environmental Engineering embraces parts of Civil Engineering, with an emphasis on management, system design, water, geotechnical and transport engineering. It also covers aspects of Chemical Engineering, applied and biological sciences, and environmental studies. To get you work ready, you'll apply these skills through 60 days of approved industry training.

The AGSM Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a full-time accelerated degree designed to prepare students for general management and executive leadership roles in business, government, or not-for-profit organisations. You'll be immersed in active learning experiences and exposed to the practical tools and skills needed to thrive in your professional endeavours. The AGSM MBA combines traditional classroom teaching with case studies and teamwork to develop the next generation of leaders.

This unique degree combination will prepare you to provide more comprehensive care for patients across three areas of practice. Prepare yourself for an exciting career in clinical settings such as hospitals or private practices, as well as non-clinical roles such as working with sporting teams or leading advocacy in healthcare management and policy.

Exercise scientists are specialists in the human body both at rest and in response to exercise. Exercise scientists gain knowledge in a broad array of subdisciplines such as biomechanics, motor control and exercise prescription – they use this knowledge to better prescribe exercise for the maintenance of health and improvement of performance.

Physiotherapists are experts in the structure and movement of the human body. Physiotherapists use hands-on physical therapy, tailored exercises, rehabilitation technologies and lifestyle modifications to help people affected by injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, and neurological and cardiovascular disorders. Along with improving mobility and function, physiotherapists provide health education to prevent further injury or illness.

Exercise physiologists use physical activity as a rehabilitative and preventative therapy. Exercise prescriptions are used to manage a wide range of conditions including cancers, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, metabolic, renal, respiratory, neurologic and mental health conditions.

In just five years, you’ll gain both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree, which will accelerate your career in health. When studied separately, this set of qualifications would normally take a minimum of six to seven years to complete. This degree has an embedded professional practice stream, where you’ll learn alongside students from our dietetics and food innovation, clinical exercise physiology and pharmacy programs. You’ll develop key interprofessional skills such as effective communication, cultural safety and competence, leadership, advocacy, entrepreneurship and business management. The stream provides an opportunity to start building connections with your future health colleagues and mirrors real-world practice, where professionals work in integrated healthcare teams. You’ll gain an understanding of how different teams work together to improve patient outcomes, such as how and when to refer a client to another health professional.

This degree will prepare you to work as an exercise scientist, physiotherapist, exercise physiologist, workplace rehabilitation consultant, wellness coordinator or clinical research assistant.
