The Master of Global Health and Master of Infectious Diseases Intelligence double degree is an innovative approach to postgraduate health education. It enables you to better understand infectious diseases in the era of new and emerging disease threats as well as management approaches for the identification, assessment, prevention and control of infectious diseases.

This combination fosters a sophisticated understanding across a complex body of multidisciplinary knowledge including infectious diseases intelligence, policy design, implementation and evaluation. You will be equipped with the specialised skills and concepts needed for professional practice in the prevention, identification, assessment and control of infectious diseases.

Integrated Design (Major)

Integrated design at UNSW is a studio based and research-led university experience. You will develop skills in concept development, making, critical thinking , technology, research, and management, leading you to a diverse range of careers.

As part of a passionate, driven and connected community at UNSW Arts, Design & Architecture (ADA), you will combine creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation with the ethical, environmental and cultural responsibilities you have as a designer. You will put theory into practice by applying critical thinking and design methodologies to a range of professional experiences

The Master of Reproductive Medicine has a proven track record in providing exceptional postgraduate level education across all subjects related to the study of reproductive medicine. As the uptake of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) around the world continues to increase, with over 12 million births and over 25 million cycles of IVF having now been completed, the applicability of this course to clinical and allied practice is obvious.

There is a growing number of practitioners who are specialising in this area. As a specialist in reproductive health, you’ll have the opportunity to explore careers as a GP, a family planning practitioner or a specialist gynaecologist working in menopause and infertility. You can also specialise in nursing and counselling or as a biological scientist.  

Complications with HIV/STIs, infertility and unplanned pregnancy are consistent health issues that require addressing through new reproductive technologies and specialised professionals. This degree will give you a better understanding of the challenges and issues surrounding sexual and reproductive health around the world.
