What you'll learn

During this degree you will study courses that teach you the fundamental legal principles and concepts that underpin the Australian legal system.

Courses such as torts, contracts, criminal law and constitutional law will give you a good understanding of the basic legal principles.

Our Law program also features courses that build your leadership skills, intercultural communication, project management and capacity for community engagement. Through your choice of electives you can expand your knowledge in an area of professional interest such as health law, sports law, family law or human rights law.

Throughout your degree, you will have many opportunities to engage in practical learning experiences including mooting, negotiation, and witness examination. You will also engage in a Community Justice Project, ensuring you’ll be prepared for legal practice upon graduation.

What you'll learn

This degree is made up of 40 courses. You will do 24 courses in law and 16 courses in management.  

Laws (Honours)

As a UniSA Law student, you’ll gain valuable skills from day one, including in reasoning, reporting, analysis, negotiation, communication and advocacy. You will also experience what it's like to argue a case and provide legal advice.

In this degree, you will get a grounding in key business disciplines through industry and business-focused courses. What you'll learn

You can gain valuable insight and career skills while you study with advanced career-focused electives and internships in industry.

In your management specialisation, you'll study areas such as international management ethics and values, and organisational leadership and behaviour.

What you'll learn

This qualification provides graduates with advanced practical and theoretical skills and knowledge, advanced research skills and valuable business skills. A key focus is on practice-based research, as it relates to your chosen specialisation. You will also study marketing and business, covering areas such as:

• copyright, trademarks, intellectual property and taxation
   

A major focus of this degree is on design research, and you will complete an individual research-based project where you will be required to critically review, analyse, identify, and propose solutions to complex design challenges. Through our industry connections, you will be given the opportunity to work on creative projects, developing skills in writing project proposals and presenting information.

What you'll learn
By studying the Master of Design (Interior Architecture) you will develop an advanced and comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of designing and maintaining interior environments that are environmentally responsive and socially adaptable. You will also graduate with a sound knowledge of research methods.

During your first year you will complete multi-disciplinary core design courses, advanced research methods, an introduction to sustainable design, business practices, and your choice of electives. During your second year, you will undertake a yearlong project resulting in a professional standard presentation/exhibition.

This program is approved by the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA) and will equip you with the education requirements to practise as a qualified financial adviser.

What you'll learn
This program consists of 16 advanced financial planning courses, which you can complete in 1.5-2 years of full-time study (or part-time equivalent). Your qualification will complement your industry experience and advance your knowledge in specialist areas such as investment management, estate planning, superannuation, and tax. You’ll study compulsory bridging courses that have been outlined in FASEA’s education requirements including ethics and professionalism, and financial advice regulatory and legal obligations. As a graduate, you can be confident you’ll leave with the essential education requirements to practise as a qualified financial adviser.
