In the Master of Engineering (Engineering Management) program, you will learn the latest theories and professional skills related to engineering management and apply them to the core areas, covering project management, supply chain management, quality management, operation management and resource management. You will also be immersed in practical industry operation procedures to suit becoming an engineering manager as a future career path.


What you Learn

In the first year of the program students gain an appreciation of various operational aspects of managing the operations of an engineering organisation. This includes studies in areas such as total quality management, research data analysis, principles of project management, engineering economic analysis, sustainable development and design practice, intelligent production systems, and leadership with elective courses in energy and society, robotics and automation and human resource management, strategic procurement and others.

In the second year of the program students undertake more advanced studies which emphasise the strategic management of engineering operations. This includes consideration of issues relating to supply chain management, resource management, project planning con control, and operation management. Bachelor of Aviation in Flight

Make your dreams of becoming a pilot reality with an innovative aviation degree. The Bachelor of Aviation (Flight) is the starting point for all international students wanting to fly.

What you'll learn

You will undertake general studies in aviation including an introduction to human factors and safety management systems. You will do Flight Training Theory 1 and 2, taught by instructors from the flight training provider. These courses prepare you for CASA Commercial Pilot Licence theory examinations.

As your studies progress, you will explore more advanced and theoretical areas including meteorology, law, human factors and aspects of the flight and performance of large aircraft systems. You will also study communication and aviation management. Your technical studies will include aerodynamics, heavy aircraft systems, navigation and risk and safety management.

Flight Experience is part of this degree. If you don’t take up Flight Experience, this course will be replaced by two electives.

What you'll learn

In your first year, you will develop a strong, general foundation in engineering before commencing your civil engineering courses in second year.
