Mechanical

In addition to providing training in conventional mechanical engineering subjects, the program structure introduces students to subjects of study that address sustainability including sustainable design and sustainable energy engineering. Graduates will be well equipped with broad-based skills that meet the demand of Australian industries and are conscious of the need to promote sustainable design and practices. Examples include mechanical and machinery design; manufacturing; energy production; and marketing and management activities. Management

The Management major equips you with the expert skills to create a career as a management specialist. You will be prepared to succeed in a range of roles in contemporary private, public, and not-for-profit organisations in Australia and abroad. In this major you will develop strategic management knowledge to enable effective organisational decision making.

The units in this major focus on organisational learning and development and behaviour, operations management, leadership and entrepreneurship, change and innovation, and policy. You can look forward to a range of careers in the broad and complex field of management.

The Master of Management is a study of contemporary management theory and practice in a global and Australian context. Within a program of integrated study, students examine and reflect upon the management techniques and strategies required for effective leadership, while also engaging with the wider community, business and government.

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) program is designed for students with interests in learning to address humanity’s issues and challenges through the development and deployment of technical solutions.

This program spans all major engineering domains and prioritises industry relevance via an emphasis on work integrated learning to ensure students are career-ready on graduation. Civil Engineering

Civil engineering covers the fields of structural design, geotechnical engineering and water engineering, together with infrastructure design and environmental engineering. Graduates may pursue career paths in the fields of design, construction and management of engineering structures and be associated with private industry, government departments, or in city, municipal or shire councils. These career paths may include engineering projects related to residential and commercial buildings, highways and airports, water supply and sewerage schemes.

The Master of Professional Accounting is an accredited graduate conversion program. It provides opportunities for applicants holding a degree (recognised as equivalent to an Australian three year undergraduate degree) in any discipline, other than an accredited accounting major, to complete the pre-entry educational requirements for CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).

The program delivers a contemporary education in accounting principles and procedures supported by knowledge of associated disciplines of law, economics and finance.
