The students of the program are taught to support the individuals, the families and the communities dealing with addiction. The program lasts for eight months and helps the students develop the skills to support the negative behavior related to addiction. The curriculum involves classroom discussions and projects, and the focus is placed on learning to identify and manage addictions. 

The students who are registered in the full-time Addiction Studies Certificate program have to write the Test of Workplace Essential Skills (TOWES) assessment in their first semester.

The need for cybersecurity expertise is only going to increase as the technological industry continues to evolve and expand. Working professionals and recent graduates can advance their career goals by building on their previous education and experience with a Cybersecurity Post-Diploma Certificate. By focusing on operating system concepts, introductory computer forensics and network protocols, this program will prepare learners to design and implement secure computation solutions. In addition, graduates will enhance their business acumen with stronger communication, technical and problem-solving skills.

The diploma teaches the students how to support and manage the cases of addiction in Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities. The course covers Aboriginal history, Aboriginal culture, and the needs of their communities and other populations and includes nineteen courses and two community practicums.

Time commitment

• This is a two-year (four terms) diploma program. A full course load is five courses per term. Students may elect to take fewer courses each term, however, it will take longer to complete the program.

Learning options

• The program consists of core business courses and major-specific courses. Core courses are available both in-class and online. All major courses are available in-class with only some courses available online.

Co-operative Education Program (Optional)

• Co-op provides eligible Business Administration Diploma students with an opportunity to gain work-related experience for one term through an assisted job search. Co-op offers students relevant experience to boost employment opportunities, develop professional skills and experience, network with employers, and earn money.  
• The Co-op Work Term process aligns with the competitive nature of job search. To be accepted into the Co-op Program, applicants must meet all eligibility criteria and follow the application process. Candidates are responsible for demonstrating a high level of professional and program expectations. Not all students accepted into the Co-op Program are guaranteed a Co-op Work Term position. 

University Transfer (Supply Chain Specific)

• Transferability is available towards SAIT's Bachelor of Business Administration degree, Supply Chain Management major (upon acceptance by SAIT).

The program teaches the students the principles of search engine optimization, user experience design, web development techniques, integrated media strategies and analytics, along with important communication and marketing skills so that the students can expand further in the digital realm. 

The students are required to carry a laptop computer with the following specifications:

• Intel quad core CPU (i5 or i7)
• 8GB RAM (16GB recommended)
• 13 inch 1080p screen (15 inches recommended)
• A dedicated graphics card with 2GB of VRam
• A 128GB solid state hard drive (256GB recommended)
• A portable hard drive (for data backup)
• Windows 10

The Pharmacy Technician Diploma has full accreditation status with the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP) and prepares the graduates for the pharmacy examining board of Canada’s national certification exam. Registered Pharmacy Technicians have a broad work scope that includes responsibilities like performing final checks on prescriptions, receiving verbal orders from prescribers, compounding mixtures, preparing sterile products such as eye drop compounds, dispensing medications or intravenous mixtures. 

The program includes 350 lab hours at their state-of-the-art facility, integrates cutting-edge technology, emphasizes on hands-on training to produce competitive dispensary-ready graduates and teaches the students to prepare sterile products in authentic certified sterile production hoods and operate a PACMED® high-speed automated medication packager. All the students registered under this program have to write the Test of Workplace Essential Skills (TOWES) assessment in term one of their programs. 

The graduates of this program work in classrooms and support children with different learning needs. The program trains the students to b education assistants via practical training and classroom learning in a school.

The Business Administration Certificate examines general business concepts and focuses on developing introductory skills in accounting principles, management, organizational behaviour, and marketing. With a well-rounded business education, learners can apply their knowledge and skills to a variety of industries. Graduates are qualified for entry level positions in the areas of accounting, office administration, retail services, marketing, and sales.
