Kinesiology is the scientific study of human movement. You will study the anatomy and physiology of body movement, including issues related to the maintenance, rehabilitation or enhancement of movement and performance.

Our Bachelor of Kinesiology (BKin) degree emphasizes the biophysical, behavioural and socio-cultural aspects of kinesiology, including exercise prescription and rehabilitation, fitness programming and clinical assessment. Video games are an increasingly important part of contemporary life and entertainment. The GAME program prepares students to share and even lead in the creation of games — from the programming that makes a game work, to the design and realization of dynamic experiences, and the planning and management of production processes.

GAME is offered concurrently at Brock and Niagara College. The program provides opportunities to explore the game space from every angle. You’ll gain a broad understanding of this complex field as you look at game programming, multiple game engines, game platforms, and various design and production paradigms. You’ll also examine core issues that surround games such as play, agency, narrative, dynamics and immersion.

Intensive production courses are offered in Years 2, 3 and 4 of the program. In these courses you’ll work on collaborative teams to create game components, prototypes and fully realized games.

This exciting mathematics program is flexible, innovative and provides opportunities for students to work with leading researchers to gain academic and employment experience.

Choose from a broad range of courses or concentrations in pure mathematics (development of mathematical ideas and concepts for their own sake), applied mathematics (mathematics for applications in science, engineering, economics or business), statistics (experimental design, sampling methods and data analysis techniques), MICA (mathematics coupled with modern computer software applications) or mathematics education.

For exceptional students, there is also an Accelerated Mathematics Studies stream where you can complete a four-year honours degree in any concentration in as little as three years.

Create a custom program for yourself. This program has been designed for individuals wishing to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue further undergraduate and graduate studies, or careers in the sciences in a personalized and flexible way.

You may complete your degree within the program or use it as a foundation to join another program of your choice in the health, life or natural sciences. It is ideally suited to students who are looking for plenty of choice as they develop their study plan. It could include the specific combination of courses required for admission into graduate or professional studies or simply courses that best serve your personal goals and aspirations.

We’ve teamed up with the School of Applied Computing and Engineering Sciences at Sheridan College to develop a program where you may complete your Brock degree and a three-year diploma in Telecommunications Technology from Sheridan College in just 4.5 years.

The program caters to the demand for professionals with a solid foundation in software development, as well as practical technical skills in system security, telecommunications, network analysis and administration.

You’ll spend three terms at Brock studying the foundations of computer science, followed by three terms at Sheridan College studying network communications in a hands-on environment. The final two terms alternate between Brock and Sheridan.

This degree prepares you for an exciting career in computer technology by tackling computing from the hardware perspective.

If you like math and physics, love to think and have an urge to take apart your computer to figure out how it works, this cutting-edge program is right for you. The program emphasizes practical aspects of computing and the use of computer-based and other solid-state electronic devices in control, manufacturing and research.

This program gives you an opportunity to upgrade your academic record and gain knowledge of North American business principles. It is a carefully designed transition year that can help you bridge the gap between undergraduate studies and your MBA or MBA (ISP) experience.

The Certificate in Administrative Studies (CAS) is right for you if you:

• Would like to go on to an MBA or MBA (ISP) program but your grades do not meet the minimum admission requirements. The CAS will provide students with an opportunity to create a recent academic record.
• Have an international background and want a comprehensive introduction to the foundations of a North American business education.
• Have a non-business background and would like to gain exposure to the foundations of management for the purposes of career advancement.
