The Diploma in Musical Theatre at Capilano University is a three year long baccalaureate program that is exclusively designed for the students who wish to take up performing arts as a career option. The Diploma in Arts and Entertainment Management is a two year long undergraduate program offered by the Faculty of Fine & Applied Arts at the School of Applied Arts, Capilano University. This is a one of kind program that provides students with opportunities to work in creative arts and entertainment industry. The Diploma in Communication Studies at Capilano University is a comprehensive 2 yearlong undergraduate program. Credit from the certificate program can ladder into the Business Administration Diploma and/or the Bachelor of Business Administration.

The Bachelor of Motion Picture Arts is a baccalaureate program spanning for a length of four years and offered by the School of Motion Picture Arts. In this program, students are taught a number of things such as theoretical and technical knowledge about the field, development of critical skills, practical experiences with people from the industry and state of the art equipment for practical purposes. The Bosa Centre for Film and Animation is used for students to interact with professionals from the field of motion picture arts. 

In order to gain skills in different technical as well as creative departments students are taught a number of things by trained faculty members. Teamwork is also very significant for this program for students are required to do group projects in collaboration with fellow students. This way a student has the opportunity of learning and choosing from different areas of filmmaking. The up-to-date professional equipment that includes an 8000 sq. ft. sound stage, 3D camera rigs and a 3D editing lab open for students to use and work on.
