The Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education is a two year long baccalaureate program that deals with children, their care and education. The Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) Diploma gives students the required knowledge to work with children under the age of five in licensed preschools and childcare centres. The program is exclusively designed for students who wish to take a career up in the same field and is headed by a team of expert professionals who have been working in the field of childcare and education from a long time.

Once the student has successfully completed an ECCE diploma he/she is eligible to apply to the degree program. After finishing this diploma students are also eligible for the ECCE Registry for credentials such as ECCE Basic Certificate, Infant Toddler Certificate and Special Needs Certificate.

The Associate of Arts - Global Stewardship is a two year long degree program provided by Capilano University which offers students a number of diverse career opportunities. This course gives students a number of career options to choose from such as local community development, journalism, teaching, politics, nursing and business as well as international development (NGOs and IGOs).

This one of a kind program prepares the students for a number of challenges in the future and the students are equipped with the knowledge to change the world. The Engineering Transition Diploma offered at Capilano University is an undergraduate diploma that spans over a period of two years. BBA is a four year bachelor’s degree program which deals with different aspects of business and financial management. Students are offered multiple subjects like tax, accounting, auditing, finance and many more. In the first year students study introductory level education in fields pertaining to Business administration and in the second year of their degree students have a more in depth knowledge with courses in financial accounting, corporate finance, business law etc. By the third year students will continue the in depth study in the subjects introduced in second year. Finally the fourth year is marked by important subjects such as accounting theory, fraud awareness and various other disciplines.
 

Capilano University provides a diploma in Classical Music which spans for 24 months. This two year program offers students a wholesome and creative environment to nurture their potential. This program is a unified whole of theoretical, historical as well as performance studies. Students are taught a number of instruments such as piano, voice, guitar, strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion and composition.

This two year diploma is a transferable program and students can get transferred to a Bachelor’s Degree in Music or a post graduate degree in Music Education and Liberal Arts. Many of the music diploma students transfer to the third year in Music Therapy program. The Advanced Business Administration is a one-year certificate program. In this program, students will gain the basic management skills to start a business career or launch your own business. Upon graduation, you'll be able to ladder your credits into the Business Administration diploma or Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

The Business Administration Certificate Program teaches students basic management skills that have practical value in a wide variety of jobs.

The program requires successful completion of one required business course, two specialty business courses and a choice of three business elective courses (three-credits each) chosen from the School of Business course offerings.

Credit from the certificate program can ladder into the Business Administration Diploma and/or the Bachelor of Business Administration.

Starting in your third year, you’ll choose your specialization: exercise science or health promotion. From here, you will expand your knowledge in advanced courses in your area of interest while being supported and mentored one-on-one by CapU’s expert faculty.

Before you graduate, you’ll take part in career and professional preparation courses, field studies and a capstone course, ensuring you’ll be ready to start working to make your community healthier as soon as you finish your degree.
