The only one of its kind in Ontario, MBA-Professional Accounting Specialization, accredited by Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario), prepares its graduates to succeed as accountants and business professionals in a multitude of careers.

From public accounting to industry or the government and not for profit, MBA-PAS is designed to develop technical knowledge, interpersonal and communication skills as well as critical thinking and professional decision-making ability, all required to excel in complex work environments.

Students can complete the program within 12 months. Students graduating from the program will hold an MBA degree and be ready to write CPA Ontario’s Common Final Exam (CFE). Fully accredited by CPA Canada, MBA-PAS students who have successfully completed the program will be able to write the CFE without having to go through any further preparation.

MBA-PAS provides domestic and international students, holding business or non-business undergraduate degrees*, with the ability to pursue a career in accounting, creating a classroom environment where synergies from diverse backgrounds contribute to the education of a well-rounded Chartered Professional Accountant.

The Master of Medical Biotechnology is a professional program that provides students with both a solid foundation of the theoretical concepts and practical industrially applicable laboratory technique experiences used in medical biotechnology industries. In addition, students will also receive training in business plan development and product commercialization.

The skills and knowledge taught in this program will allow you to develop a successful career in biotech entrepreneurship, medical and pharmaceutical materials characterization, medical diagnostics or biotechnology product development/monitoring. In addition, the Master of Medical Biotechnology program can be a route for career advancement if you are currently employed in biotechnology and/or related medical and pharmaceutical industries.

You will study and live in Canada for approximately 16 months while enrolled in 10 prescribed courses. The courses will have multi-disciplinary relevance and provide the practical knowledge required to excel in the complex environment of Medical Biotechnology.

The MMB graduate degree is a self-funded professional program. Students who register in this program are not eligible for government funding, i.e. Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP), and therefore must ensure that they have sufficient financial resources to meet their total cost of attendance.

Developmental Psychology
Our developmental psychology program offers so much that is unique. Start your program with an Introduction to Psychology course for psych majors only, where you get to work in small groups led by mentors to help you along. Later, you will have opportunities for undergraduate research and community placements where you can put what you’ve learned in the classroom into practice. Work with children, adolescents, adults or seniors and choose a career path that matches your interests.

Family and Social Relations
Families are dynamic. Gain theoretical and practical insights into the changes that affect families, and the social responses to those changes. This program explores child studies, sexuality and sexual health, family history and change, marriage dynamics, and gender issues. It combines courses from a variety of disciplines, including sociology, psychology, social work, history and women’s and gender studies.
