The mission of the M.Sc.in Clinical Psychology programmeis to prepare competent and effective professionals committed to generalize clinical practice with the ability to respond to the needs of individuals, families, groups, communities and organizations. The programme is committed to understand the mental health issues of human being. It aims at identifying and addressing community needs and issues, including those related to the mentally abuse, cultural diversity.

With an objective to prepare a skilled workforce in the field of civil engineering, Assam down town University offers job-oriented studies with a 4-year B.Tech in Civil Engineering. This pragramme deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways. Over a period of time, we have evolved as one of the best civil engineering colleges.

Two Years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, also known as clinical laboratory science which is an allied health profession is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease through the use of clinical laboratory tests. A Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) also referred to as medical technologist can carry out these tests by analyzing body fluids, tissues, blood typing, microorganism screening, chemical analyses, cell counts of human body etc.

Masters of Pharmacy (M. Pharm or M. Pharmacy) is the standard master degree programme. It is designed and regulated as per the guideline of Pharmacy council of India (PCI). It is a branch of the health sciences that deals with preparation, dispensing, and research related activities. Pharmacology is the branch of medicine that deals with the study uses, effects, and modes of action of drugs.

Two Years Diploma in Radio - Imaging Technology is about the utilization of X-ray, CT scan, Ultrasound and MRI for the diagnosis of pathology and thus aiding in the use of contrast medium to study various system and organs to evaluate the effect of various diseases and finding pathologies.

Social work is a profession devoted to helping people function as well as their environments. BSW programme will enable aspirants to start working as generalist social work professionals who provide services to individuals, groups, families, organizations, and communities. Individuals pursuing Bachelor in Social Work will work with oppressed and underprivileged populations. The BSW level practitioner is seen as a generalist with certain areas of special expertise. The curriculum focuses on roles such as advocacy, referral, casework and problem solving functions.

A Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Counselling deals with the skills of counselling with sensitivity and in relevance to the problems of the society. This programme will enable the aspirants to systematically understand the purpose, scope, types, theories and approaches in counselling with a focus on their application to practice.

D. Pharmacy or D. Pharma is a diploma level programme for aspirants who wish to study Pharmacy and opt for a career option in medicine. It is a 2-year full-time diploma programme designed to prepare candidates to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in hospitals, community pharmacies, and other pharmaceutical-related fields.

B.Sc. in Food Nutrition and Dietetics is a 3-year undergraduate programme which deals with basic and advanced study on food and nutrition and develops understanding and knowledge for applying onto the human health. Food Nutrition and Dietetics is one of the multi disciplinary fields with great demand in various applications in the field of research and development.

B. A in Sociology is committed to command leadership coming from all walks of life. The programme in particular is aimed at identifying and addressing community needs and issues, including those related to the alleviation of poverty and oppression, cultural diversity and social and economic justice. In support of its educational endeavours, the programme is dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, scholarship, lifelong learning and community service.
