We ensure that our civil engineering graduates have the technical and fundamental attributes of a successful construction manager, design consultant, project engineers and other significant roles they take upon. A lot of effort is put in making the students well versed in the usage and application of latest software tools that are widely used in the construction industry. Our curriculum is further hallmarked by giving experiential learning to students, as a result of which they are able to manage large scale construction projects, while ensuring they are scheduled and built in accordance with plans and specifications.

The quality of medical care has improved tremendously in the last few decades due to the advances in technology, thus creating fresh challenges in the field of healthcare. It is now widely recognised that health service delivery is a team effort involving both clinicians and non-clinicians, and is not the sole duty of physicians and nurses.

In fact, diagnosis is now so dependent on technology, that allied and healthcare professionals (AHPs) are vital to successful treatment delivery. The program aims to train human resources with requisite skills in the area of medical radiology & imaging technology who can be hired in all kinds of healthcare settings. The program makes use of modern teaching methods and a combination of the theoretical aspects of the subjects with practical reinforcement endows the students with a superior knowledge and enables them to discover their hidden potential, realise the importance of hard work and hone their intellectual, analytical and managing skills towards a successful and fulfilling career, supplemented and guided by experienced and quality teaching throughout the course of study.

Students study practical-based courses such as Baking Technology, Human Resource Management, Introduction to Accounting, Management Principles, Baking Ingredients Studies, Food Product Development, Operations Management and Practical Baking Skills in Confectionery, Pastry and Artisan Bread Making. Further, our expert faculty, with their extensive academic & professional experience, acquaint students with the latest developments in the Bakery & Pastry Industry.

Our Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a four-year undergraduate program geared toward highly motivated students who are strongly focused on careers in biomedical/pharmaceutical research, biomedicine, and/or the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries. The program spans the entire pharmaceutical continuum—from discovery and development to regulation and from translation to patient care and outcomes.

PHARMACOGNOSY – Study of natural products as the source of drugs and their applications in Pharma industry through different theory and practical subjects of Pharmacognosy.

PHARMACEUTICS – Overview of Pharmacy and its applications in drug formulation, delivery and dispensing through various theory and practical subjects such as General Pharmacy, Pharm. Engineering, Microbiology, Biopharmaceutics.

Each year, the program produces competent nurses who are capable of making independent decisions in nursing situations, protecting the rights of individuals and groups in pursuit of health, functioning effectively in hospitals & community nursing services, and conducting research studies in the areas of nursing practice. They are also well prepared to fill the role of a teacher, supervisor and manager in a clinical / public health setting.

Mechatronics Engineers work in all aspects of the development of smart machines – from design and testing right through to manufacture. This could be in industries like robotics, medical and assistive technology, human-machine interaction, manufacturing, unmanned aerial and ground vehicles, and education.

Considering this, we have built an industry-aligned curriculum wherein students learn robotics, mechatronics, and autonomous system technology, while also providing them ample opportunity for practical application and project work.

At Chitkara University, we offer Computer Science Engineering with specialisation in UI/UX DESIGN. This specialisation focuses on teaching students how to design digital products that provide relevant user experiences – understanding the needs of the users. It trains you in creating a product roadmap based on these user needs and implementing the principles of UI/UX design to get an easy to use and simple product.
