The Dravyaguna department mainly deals with the Dravya (medicine), Guna (properties) and its Karma (activity). It comprises of maetria medica, pharmacognosy, pharmacology and Ayurvedic clinical therapeutics. The curriculum is designed in such a way that, it includes Ayurvedic as well as contemporary knowledge of medicine.

A Dravyaguna expert can get jobs in several fields like government and private sector, academic (Ayurveda pharmaceutical colleges and companies), research oriented jobs as a Research officer in CCRAS, AYUSH department, pharmaceutical industries (Ayurveda as well as herbal unit), clinical research units. As Dravyaguna subject covers detailed study of medicinal plants, like identification, adulteration, substitution, agro technical aspects. It enables the physician to practice efficiently as compared to the practitioners of other specialties. 

This course is common to all the students. This course includes an update of the Basic Sciences such as Biomechanics & Applied Physiotherapy, Biophysics, etc for improving abilities in functional diagnosis and clinical reasoning. This course also includes Allied Subjects such as Management, Ethics & Teaching Technology. The candidate has to study 5 Cases for presentation at the time of practical examination.

This course includes the study of any one Specialty selected from above & an independent research project/ dissertation, preferably based on the Specialty.

The department is equipped with the state of the art equipment’s like Radar systems, variety of antennas with testing and measurement systems like Vector Network Analyzer, This facilitates various research activities. The department encourages students to carry out innovative research to match the needs of the technical education system, the industry and our society. The scope of Electronics and Telecommunication engineers range from creating circuit designs to deploying wireless communication networks and fiber optics, internet protocol data systems.

This program is a four-year program approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. It leads to a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. It follows a semester pattern. This program uniquely offers an interdisciplinary field of study which seeks to achieve a better understanding and control of the factors influencing drug development, drug discovery, regulatory compliances, and drug pharmacology. Our graduates will be able to maintain leadership positions in academia, industry, and government.
