Master of Surgery in Obstetrics & Gynaecology

This is a three year post-graduate program recognised by the Medical Council of India. The program entails rotational postings in the departments of Paediatrics and General Medicine, Psychiatry and Anaesthesia. The student is involved in managing cases under expert supervision in the Paediatric Out Patient Department, Vaccination Out Patient Department, wards, Casualty, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Labour Ward.

This experience is supplemented by Speciality experience gained in Paediatric Endocrinology, Paediatric Cardiology, Paediatric Neurology, Paediatric Surgery and Neonatology besides foetal medicine. Skills training in the neonate and paediatric patient is achieved with the aid of our state of art Simulation Laboratory equipped with neonate and paediatric mannequins.

Practical training is complemented with a rigorous lecture, seminar , journal club and seminar schedule to ensure a sound theoretical base to the student. The course will enable the student to develop exceptional clinical and practical skills. The student is trained to practice Paediatrics and all its sub-specialities with a holistic and empathetic approach.

Computer Engineering, abbreviated as CE, is an academic programme which integrates the field of Computer Science and Computer Engineering. The programme lays strong emphasis on computer programming, networking, computing, algorithms, computer software and hardware and explores various thrust application areas.

Under the 2-year M. Tech in Information Technology Programme, the students learn advanced areas related to Cloud, Network, Information & Data processing, security and privacy. They understand the open problems and current research work happening in these areas. Students are in this manner enabled to pursue research in domains related to Information Technology.

MDS Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry are considered to be age-old specialties providing primary and comprehensive therapeutic and preventive oral health care for children in their adolescence, infants and even those who require special healthcare needs.

It Prepares graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives at a basic level in providing promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. It also develops nurses who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of facilitating individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital, community nursing services, and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. They are also expected to assume the role of teacher, supervisor, and manager in a clinical/public health setting.

This is a postgraduate program of three years duration recognised by the Medical Council of India. It includes rotational postings in the departments of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Neonatology, General Medicine , General Surgery, Radiology and Pathology. The student is involved in actively managing cases in the Out Patient Department, wards , Labour Ward and Operation Theatres under expert supervision.

In addition to this the student attends and treats patients under expert supervision in the various Speciality Clinics run by the department, namely Cancer Screening and Oncology Clinic, Family Planning OPD, Infertility Clinic, High Risk Pregnancy OPD, Foetal Medicine Clinic, STD Clinic and Adolescent Health Clinic. The student besides gaining proficiency in routine Gynaecologic and Obstetric surgical procedures, is also trained in neonatal resuscitation. These skills are further honed by practicing in our state of art Simulation Laboratory.

B Arch Full Form is Bachelor of Architecture. Bachelor of Architecture is a five-year undergraduate program which has a blend of both theoretical and practical knowledge. The course teaches students the art of planning, designing and constructing using appropriate techniques and principles.

MBA in Pharmaceutical Management is a 2-year postgraduate degree course which focuses at producing skilled professionals for managerial level positions in areas like Drug Manufacturing, Production Management, Pharmaceutical Marketing, Brand Management etc.

The Dravyaguna department mainly deals with the Dravya (medicine), Guna (properties) and its Karma (activity). It comprises of maetria medica, pharmacognosy, pharmacology and Ayurvedic clinical therapeutics. The curriculum is designed in such a way that, it includes Ayurvedic as well as contemporary knowledge of medicine.

A Dravyaguna expert can get jobs in several fields like government and private sector, academic (Ayurveda pharmaceutical colleges and companies), research oriented jobs as a Research officer in CCRAS, AYUSH department, pharmaceutical industries (Ayurveda as well as herbal unit), clinical research units. As Dravyaguna subject covers detailed study of medicinal plants, like identification, adulteration, substitution, agro technical aspects. It enables the physician to practice efficiently as compared to the practitioners of other specialties.
