Mechanical Engineering is the branch of Engineering that deals with design, manufacturing and operation of machinery. This branch uses concepts of engineering, physics and material science for design, manufacturing, operation and maintenance of mechanical systems. The aim is to develop students’ creative skills in engineering design, analytical ability, innovative and problem solving skills in the key mechanical engineering subjects and build confidence among students to handle live mechanical engineering projects.

Master of Arts Programme in Political Science of School of Humanities and Social Science, GD Goenka University has been designed to equip students with comprehensive and in-depth learning of the subject matter of Political Science. The Programme aims to prepare students for a career in research and equips the student to be well versed with contemporary trends in politics and public policy as well as possess a nuanced understanding of how political concepts, institutions and governments have evolved by introducing them to thinkers and discourses from ancient, medieval and modern times – both in Western and South Asian politics. The strong research thrust of the MA Programme is reflected in the course on Research Methodology, the Internship Programme and the Dissertation – all of which aim to cultivate, hone and strengthen the research, writing and analytical skills of the students. While the course on Research Methodology aims to educate students with techniques of conducting research and introduces them to research ethics, the two-month Internship enables students to work with an organization of their choice and gain work experience and an opportunity to assess their learning in real-life scenarios. The Dissertation is a microcosm of future doctoral research and helps the student assess and cultivate research and writing skills, in particular, to do with academic writing.

BA (H) Economics Programme is enriching yet challenging suited to the varying interests and career ambitions of students in the area of economics. This is with an objective to encourage critical, evaluative, and strategic ways of thinking using principles of economics. The objective is to generate an appreciation of the economic dimensions extending to social, political, environmental and international issues. Master in Medical Laboratory Sciences is a Post graduate 2 years academic program, with 6 months of mandatory Project work. The aim of this program to provide skilled and professional training in the diagnosis field of Medical laboratory science. The different specialization of this program trained students in specialized technology which make them efficient to do work in specialized diagnostics and research area. Students are also trained to handle advanced lab equipment and perform accurate diagnostics procedure and their reporting, with great emphasis on Quality Control and Quality Assurance. Students are capable to make their careers in diagnostics, academics, laboratory medicine, R & D sectors, quality control and quality assurance and for being entrepreneurs, by setting up their own laboratory.

BA (H) English program is designed to provide students with a liberal arts foundation while sharpening their language skills and analytical abilities in English. The course includes English Literature, English Language, Poetry, Grammar, Creative Writing and Linguistics. Through general education, electives, and focused study, students have the chance to develop oral and written communication skills. Within the English specialization, students study topics in British, American literature as well as Indian Writing in English, Technical Writing, Business Communication and Literary Criticism. The program is also intended to build individual productivity, expression and teamwork proficiency

Students will learn the fundamentals of drawing to Advanced Sketching techniques. They will learn and be able to practically apply the Pre-Production process in making Animation and VFX films. In-depth practical understanding of 3D Production pipeline and VFX Pipeline. Creating a 3D environment according to VFX shot and camera handling for shoots. Creating 3D assets and characters with photorealistic textures and creating lighting according to VFX shots (to match the real setup)

B. Sc. Forensic Science program aims to develop the skills necessary to take part in a forensic investigation by providing the experience in examining forensic evidence and case studies. It provides students with detailed contextual knowledge of courses related to forensic science in the broad areas of biology, chemistry, law, and methods of forensic investigation so that they can acquire skills necessary to carry out independent projects

The D. Pharm programme is duly approved by Pharmacy Council of India and Government of Haryana. The syllabus and curriculum prescribed by Pharmacy Council of India is followed for D. Pharm Programme. This shorter version of programme in pharmacy is specifically designed to create professionals who can prepare, analyze and dispense various pharmaceutical dosage forms. They also receive in-plant training in government hospitals through which the communication skill with the patients and the confidence towards the profession are improved significantly.
